I had dinner here with a couple friends mid January, made reservation via the phone which was convenient.
Service was okay, not too busy but by the time we were ready to check out we did have to call over the waitress as they were busy. They may have been the only one serving, at least from what I recall.
I ordered the classic Tom Yum soup with shrimp as the protein of choice. It was okay, personally it was a bit bland as I’ve had it elsewhere and the punch of flavour wasn’t landing for me. There were two or three pieces of small/medium shrimp in.
My friends ordered the pad Thai with chicken and beef, red curry with rice and one of the other noodle dishes. I can’t remember the name of this one but it required the chili sauce for me to enjoy it. We didn’t finish it, and made the choice to not take it home.
Other than that, would visit again maybe the flavour would land the next time for me.

Had a very nice dining experience at the Grand Thai House today.

Just had one of the specials for take out. had the beef pad Thai and the hot and sour soup. serving was large enough for two people. cooked very well with wonderful flavor. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Place looked very clean and inviting.

Just ordered vegetarian Tom Yum soup & it’s outstanding. This is my favourite soup. I order from difference places at least once a week. It’s so good that I just called the restaurant to tell them myself & now I’m here telling the whole internet. Huge portion too. I can’t wait to check out the lunch combo special!!

The pad Thai tasted great and the beef was well seasoned. The crab rangoon was decent but presentation can be better and more filling.

The lunch here was great!
I was unfamiliar with the cuisine and so described what I was feeling for to Humi, who did an EXCELLENT job recommending exactly what I was feeling for.
The taste was lovely and the portions substantial.
I would recommend Grand Thai House as really nice lunch house restaurant.

Just had lunch here for the first time. The pad Thai was really good – fresh & great flavour. Another customer nearby ordered the green curry and it smelled fantastic… I’ll definitely get that next visit.

The restaurant really brings you back to Asia because of its simple design that feels very authentic. The green curry has a nice mild spice and a little salty and the sour soup has bit of a sweet flavor with the sour. The price is really good, the restaurant is quant and I will definitely go back to try more of their dishes.
