Picked up take out from this location the other day and was surprised by all the negative press. The food came out incredibly fast. Both my wife and I thought the sauce was delicious and felt the food was seasoned well. We did think the rice left a little to be desired, but also enjoyed their egg rolls. I will be giving them another chance and encourage you to do the same.

This is our go to neighborhood spot for a fast meal. The food is usually great, especially the egg rolls. Staff is generally friendly and the food is always ready surprisingly fast. The place could use some updating but I don’t go for the atmosphere I’m looking for a quick takeout on my way home. So why the one star?? Well that’s due to last night. I was on my way home late and needed a quick meal. Rice Bowl Express is on the way and they are open until 9:30 p.m. Great!!! I pulled up at 8:45, plenty of time right?? Wrong! The lights are mostly out, the open sign is off and the door is locked. Staff is obviously cleaning up getting ready to head out and just looks at me like I’m stupid. I get it’s a holiday week. It sucks having to work late. Everyone wants to be home and get an early start on the holiday. But professionalism is staying open to your posted hours even when you don’t want to or at least putting up a sign apologizing and letting your customers know what’s going on. If your a neighborhood service based business then your customers and neighbors come to rely on your service and expect you to be there. Do better! End of rant.

This used to be good. Now it’s tasteless food. Worse than hospital meals. Zero meat on combos, mainly vegetables. Not even my cat likes it. Plus it’s expensive. (OWNER please pay attention or you will end up closing due to stealing from customers, we want meat on our food not just veggies)

I called for a take out but immediately was put on hold without asking me. I was in hold for 15 minutes and heard all the goings in in the background while I was across the street at the Neighborhood walmart. After walmart, I decided to drive up to the drive through and I was still on hold so I hung up and gave my order at the drive through. Please tell them not to do that, it’s really rude.

I decided to stop in check out this establishment. I had eaten here about 2 years ago and the food was great. Today I had the Sesame chicken with fried rice. Unfortunately, I was truly disappointed with the service the woman at the drive through wasn’t very friendly and the food was of poor quality. I would rate it a 5 out 10. The rice was just steamed rice and maybe they poured soy sauce on it nothing special about it. She gave me chili sauce it wasn’t even spicy. ️ it may have been old. Probably won’t stop here and eat again.

I don’t know why this restaurant has so many bad reviews but damn they are so wrong, they are really fast on making your food less than 3 minutes. The lady in front was so nice but the inside of the restaurant is pretty boring to be in, overall the orange was delicious I would recommend it.
