I was staying at the Hilton Atlanta while in the middle of moving and ended up dining at Southern Elements multiple times. I am honestly not sure what warrants some of the lower reviews on Google, because I had a great experience every single visit, whether it was at the bar or in the restaurant.
The customer service was consistently great and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the shrimp tostadas, the hot chicken sandwich, and the drinks at the bar. Everything I had was well prepared and enjoyable.
Quint did an excellent job each evening and made the experience even better. The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and made it a comfortable place to unwind after long moving days.
I would absolutely dine here again when staying at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid meal and great service inside the Hilton Atlanta.

The mocktail hibiscus wasn’t great, they didn’t have something to make the peach drink but the pear one was really good.
The burger was cooked well, medium. The bacon on the burger was too crispy for me to enjoy. The garlic parmesan fries were okay.
The salmon was cooked well. The mustard on the fish gave me heartburn.
Host was friendly, server was helpful.
Nothing really special. Expensive for no reason.

So the bug climbed right out of the Raspberries. You can look and see that these Raspberries are not soaked in water and vinegar for a couple of minutes to get rid of these bugs. The Raspberries and Blackberries look dusty/unwashed. The rest of the fruit looks washed. The hot food was delicious.

Went for breakfast. There are two buffet options on the menu, one for $17 and one for $33. I ask for the cheaper one. The problem is, there’s one buffet, and they charge you based on what you take from the buffet. Nothing is labeled, so good luck guessing which items you’re allowed to take. And the food isn’t even good enough to warrant a $17 price, let alone a $42 price after tax and tip. That’s right, you also get charged an 18% tip, for the privilege of scooping your own powdered eggs onto your plate, to a server who drops off a pot of coffee and a check, only to never see you again.

I got a brisket sandwich and was shocked how good it was! Meat was juicy and tender. I don’t have too much faith in hotel restaurants but this was a nice surprise. My server Shireese was so lovely and quick too!

The food especially the pasta is a work of wonder. And the portion size is amazing too

This excellent restaurant was let down badly by our waitstaff Tyanna. She rushed us the whole time and wanted to know if we were having dessert while my husband was still finishing his main. She brought back the wrong beer and didn’t offer a fresh cold glass for my husband’s second beer. My son asked for a top up of his diet coke and was brought a can, not opened, and no glass, or ice. The drinks were very slow coming out, but it was clear from the condition of the draft beer, that they had been sitting on the bar, for quite a while, waiting to be collected. It is a shame, because the food was really good.

Horrible service. Not busy at all and it took 30 minutes just to get our drink order.
