One Good Reason
Re-discovering Rockhouse Live since their move to 404 Southard (old Big Cheezees) is a real treat. They have a pro smokehouse going and the best BBQ in Key West. A huge 360 degree bar, a side “Rock Room” for private events. And live music and Karaoke too. They started a Music Bingo on mondays which seems fun.
Tons of TVs for sports and a great vibe. Congrats and best success to you!

We went into the rock house bar. Tara was absolutely amazing. She had the biggest smile on her face, and she made a good drink. Even though the place was packed, she was able to accompany everyone coming up to the bar. Tara Is it amazing, wonderful bartender thank you very much for allowing us the opportunity to be served by her.

I really had high hopes for the new location, after a good experience the first visit we thought it could become our new go to bar since we pass it on our way home….Tonight however ended that when the DB bartender tried to rip us off and when I asked why the drinks suddenly went up he blatantly lied ! 26$ for 2 well drinks one of which is advertised as 6$ on the board outside for the last 3 weeks! INSTEAD of just saying yes sorry for the confusion he doubled down and said something so ridiculous I could hardly believe it! Im not sure what he was thinking but this is not how you treat customers especially locals..Im not some cruiseship passenger that will probably never come through again…Im sad to say I will not be recommending this new location to anyone and I really don’t think a business can survive with this sort as the face of your business…Im guessing it won’t be long before there’s another business in this location.

Never before in my life have I experienced a waiter hand back a receipt asking for a tip after one drink until last night. I planned on staying for a while but kept the tab closed and planned to cash tip at the end of my visit. I paid for one drink and left the tip line 0 on the receipt. The waiter picked it up, saw it and handed it back to me stating I forgot to tip. I told him that I planned to cash tip when I leave and he set it back down in front of me for a few minutes. Came back through and saw it was still zero and argued with me again that I was not tipping and set it back down in front of me. Ended up still leaving a cash tip of 20%. I would not ever recommend this bar to anyone as they harass you for a tip. Won’t be back. Also, get a job that doesn’t require you to live off of tips.
