Live coming here for breakfast. It is the type of place you go to sit with friends & enjoy a cup of coffee before ordering. It is not a fast food restaurant. If you are in a hurry, this is not for you.
A relaxed atmosphere to chat and sip a coffee or orange juice. The food is wonderful and the customers are courteous and friendly. Definitely a great place to eat and chill.

This place was absolutely the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to multiple breakfast diners across the us over the years (both major franchise and mom and pop shops). The steak and eggs I ordered was perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The waitress and staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. And order thr house made coffee cake, it is to die for. U cannot recommend this place enough.

Stopped here after an Ice Age Trail section backpack weekend. This place takes you back to a time long past in my life. Simple family owned syoe dinner with Betty Boop and Coca Cola themed interior. We were there right before Halloween and one of the employees had their spooky miniature city setup on the counter which reminded me of those from my childhood. The staff were super nice and the food was perfect. Sadly they ran out of biscuits and gravy for our table but did get there 70 minutes before closing. However the french toast, hash browns and bacon I ordered was exactly like the great country dinners from my youth in Kentucky would make and like weekend morning from my mom’s breakfast. It’s good from the heart. If you get a chance stop here and support this place!! Thanks for a great breakfast from a Chicagoan! Bring cash if you can, CC accepted for a small fee per card

Super CUTE place, but expect to wait an HOUR for your food. Feebie is the ONLY employee, and makes every meal herself.

This place screams nostalgia. Jim Dean, Coca-Cola, and warm friendly service. A mix between diner and restaurant with outstanding food.

If you come here, expect slow service. After she took our order, it took 40 minutes to get the food. One cook and two girls work in the counter and tables ordered an omelette. It was brown on the sides overcooked. The special red potatoes they talk about, I’ve yet to figure out what special about him, they’re just fried red potato. I go back, not probably not.

I am not usually a big fan of potatoes with breakfast, but their baby reds were out of this world. I could have eaten a huge plate of them. We shared a pancake and it was big and fluffy, as was the omelet. Small diner, but they also have counter seats and the decor is very nostalgic.
