WOW! This place is amazing! My wife and I enjoyed the pulled pork the most. The pulled beef was ok. The chopped beef was not as good. But man, the pulled pork street tacos were amazing!!

I don’t eat at Mexican restaurants often. This time my wife craving Mexican street tacos. So we came here. The food was amazing! I would say this is one of the best tacos I ever had. Again, my sample pool is pretty small. I surly enjoyed the food and service. The lady was very patient with me. I’ll definitely come back again.

Little restaurant attached to a gas station. Didn’t have high hopes, but we were blown away. Food is fantastic. We got quesadillas, burritos, street tacos, and Arroz con Pollo. Street tacos and ACP were the best but it was all good. Queso was good. The corn tortillas on the street tacos were some of the best I’ve had locally. Inside is tiny so take out definitely recommended. Will return.

Stopped here to supercharge our Tesla, and had the best burrito!!! Came with some queso and chips. You build your very sharable burrito (huge tortilla) with a large assortment of fresh ingredients. There is a 6 option salsa bar in the dining area too. A fantastic find.

I hate that this place… is 45 miles from my home in Charlotte! However, it is always, ALWAYS worth the drive! Have you ever eaten food and wished that you would not get full? This is that kind of place! Whether you get chicken, Carnitas, Pastor, or whatever these folks pile generous helpings into your burrito. TheIr grilled onions and jalapeños make wonderful accompaniments to the rest of the glorious toppings they have. Their queso dipping sauce is extraordinary and so are all the other freshly-made pico de gallo and other salsas – not to mention the usual lettuce, tomato, etc. We are selling our house and moving soon and proximity to this place has come up several times when contemplating our eventual location! I lived in Mexico for two years – you can trust me that this place is awesome!

You sill need to read my first comments below this one. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I am addicted to their burritos, but last time I got the Street Tacos. Wow!!! They were phenomenal – but why should I be surprised?!? Look, people. I lived in Mexico for 2.5 years and go back every year. I’m just a normal white guy with a flair for cooking and this place is, hands down, the BEST Mexican place I have EVER been to – including those in Mexico. It has authentic ingredients (pico with nopales, grilled/roasted onions, queso seco, fresh jalapeños, etc.) Get all of those on whatever you order. Their helpings of meat, even in street tacos, are always overly generous. When they put the meat on I wonder how are they going to get anything else on the taco or burrito! When I pass by on I-77 I will *ALWAYS* stop here!. Last visit I knew I was going to my sister’s place and she was preparing “Mexican” for us, but I insisted we stop here anyway. OMG I am so glad we did! I may just move to Troutman only because of this place!!!

Are you kidding me?!? This tiny little restaurant parked next to a convenience mart/gas station with Tesla EV chargers in front is my find of the century! I’ve lived in Italy, Mexico, and Peru, and for Mexican in North Carolina the burritos served here are unmatched! The meats used are plentiful and delicious. The pico de gallo and other fresh toppings are always spot on. Don’t forget to include the roasted green onions with your meal – fabulous! Joel and his friends do a great job of satisfying a hungry palate. So glad I was running out of electronic bolts when I stumbled upon this place. It’s my must–stop place when traveling north of Charlotte on I-77!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Ohhh my Goood! My husband and I are now regulars (We order takeout 3 or 4 times a week! Lol). The food is really, really tasty, reasonably priced, and the portions are huge! Everything we have tried is 10/10! Today my husband ordered the “Torta with chicken and chorizo” and the size of it is huge! The picture doesn’t make justice of how big it is. Give them a try!

I was surprised by how small the restaurant is but boy the flavors were spot on. The line moved fast and service was excellent. I recommend the whole menu and the homemade salsas are the best. Will be back soon!

When we don’t feel like cooking at home, our go-to spot is always Best Express Mexican. The food is normally delicious and consistent, and we’ve enjoyed many great meals here. Last night, however, wasn’t their best—both bags of chips were stale and the food didn’t quite meet the usual standard. That said, everyone can have an off night, and we’ll definitely be back because Best Express Mexican is usually excellent.
