This was an excellent dining experience. We had a group of 6 individuals and the wait staff took great care of us without delay or interruption.

Everyone at the table was very happy with their meals, I got the 10oz Tri Tip stake. Though it was cooked a little more that I would like, wow was it tender and flavorful. One of the best tri tips I have had.

When I am in town, I will definitely be back here to dine again.

It was our first visit to this new location. We wanted to see what it looked like. There’s been so many different restaurants in this unit, we were curious. We weren’t worried about the food since we’ve been to most of their locations, always good and consistent. The place looked great and the service was good too (except for a pet peeve of ours where the hostess/host sits you right next to other patrons to make it easier on the waitress even when the place isn’t even close to being full).

Food: We got the Shredded Onions. Very tasty, but what a pain to eat. It’s awkward and messy. My wife got the Grilled Chicken Salad that looked great and she said it was. When I received my Combo Plate w/Brisket & Sausage, I wished I would have ordered what she had. The brisket wasn’t just bad, it was bizarre. I’ve BBQ’d many a brisket in my life and I’ve never seen it with this brittle grey tasteless texture. It was so dead it just crumbled apart. I’m not even sure it was brisket. The sausage wasn’t much better but compared to the brisket, it was gourmet.

Next year we’ll try again, maybe.

Had a very nice dining experience here for our book club dinner. This is my first time dining at this location.

Our waitress, Jovi, was attentive and prompt. I had the Asian chicken salad while my dinner mates had the tri-tip with sides.

Wood Ranch is always a hit when it comes to catering too, as our family and friends often choose this place to cater events.

This is my favorite Wood Ranch location. We have dined at the Agoura, Camarillo and Moorpark locations but Thousand Oaks is my preferred spot. From the servers, to the bar staff and the store manager Tim, I always feel they go out of their way to make sure I have the best experience. The food is always amazing and fresh. The sea bass is a nice addition they added recently which is a big hit with my wife. Both dine in and take out have been 5 stars for us. Thank you!

Wood ranch is always a good go to option for me. I’m glad they opened up a location in Thousand Oaks! Me and my fiance went and split a plate of trip tip and brisket with the garlic mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The meat was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes are always amazing as in the Mac n cheese. The garlic rolls are fresh and light and they did a good job of refilling ours ! We sat at the bar. We will be back for sure! Great date night spot.

First time to WR at the Thousand Oaks Mall. They have The Brisket & Tri-tip combo with two sides! Spouse’s Baby-back ribs five cut not perfect this visit. Fine food. Appreciate the adequate wait-staff. Like the stand-alone properties better. D.K.

We came on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone was cheerful and friendly. There wasn’t a wait and we were seated right away.

The lunch sliders and soup were very tasty. The chicken was delicious. Potato and mac and cheese were good.

Wood Ranch is a popular BBQ chain that exists in and around Ventura county. They offer California Americana style barbecue and sides.
This establishment has inhabited what was once Stacked many moons ago in The Oaks mall. The redesign of the space is very inviting and earthy. The entire space is open and congruent. Nothing feels disjointed or cut off.
The food is fine and truly calls back to the days of going to the grill and getting a nice slab of barbecue or refreshing salad or appetizers.
They serve nice drinks as well, if that is what you are into. The space is a perfect meeting place for get togethers, dates, meetings, or just to get a nice bite to eat.
If you find yourself at the mall, it’s definitely a spot to stop and dine at.

Came here to have lunch and Nathan was my server. I really enjoy wood ranch, but Nathan made this experience really stand out. He was super hospitable and was on quick with the service and very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

We usually go to Wood Ranch Agoura Hills, which is always dee-licious. We always get the beef ribs, which are huge and cooked to perfection. Today, we happened to be in The Oaks Mall and were ready for dinner. Mmmm, just thinking about the perfect beef ribs made my mouth water. So we decided to dive in and try Wood Ranch in the mall. We dove and hit the bottom of the pit, the bar-b-cue pit. The ribs came out, and the top ones were ok but a little crispy. They were tolerable but not as expected. The 2 on the bottom looked as if they survived the Eton fires of 2025. The meat could have been mistaken for beef crunch. The manager basically had nothing to say except thanks for telling me. All-in-all, next time we will know better and go to The Cheesecake factory across the way.
