I’ve passed this place driving by numerous times and finally stopped in to check it out…and I’m so glad I did!!! It is very clean and nice inside, and the staff was so friendly and helpful It was my first visit so it took some time to read the menu and decide what I wanted. You can watch them prepare your food, and everything looks delicious and fresh…they have a large variety of meat and toppings to choose from. I got an assortment of tacos and street corn, it was all phenomenal! I dine at a lot of local Mexican restaurants, and I can say this is my new favorite

If you know about this place, then you know! They used to be a food truck, and since moving into this building the food and service have remained the same with a slight expansion on the menu. I enjoy most of their menu but my favorite is the Mexican street corn and the tacos. The meat of your choosing is always delicious, well-seasoned, and never dry. While the corn is cooked to perfection with a generous amount of toppings. I have yet to dine in but the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and clean.

Tacos are some of the best in town. Its quick tacos like at Islands but with fresher ingredients and full of flavor. Its a small place connected to a gas station but dont let the keep you away! This place is one of the best kept secrets in Wilmington!

We live nearby and always wanted to try the food truck on the corner but never saw it when we remembered actually remembered it. Finally got to go into the restaurant for the first time and man, a few bites in and we realized we found our new spot! The Mexican corn was beyond delicious! Full of flavor and juicy! The grilled chicken tacos were so fresh and so tasty with the chipotle ranch! We also got a chicken quesadilla with “the works”…which I think is almost everything they have on it. Absolutely to die for! The people in front of us ordered it and once we saw it we new we had to do the same since it looked amazing! Needless to say, we’ll be back! Thank you guys!!!
UPDATE: it’s been about a year since my initial review and the food has only gotten better! Not only that, but the amazing people who work here have become friends and we look forward to stopping in weekly to see them! Presentation was good. Food was fresh and you can tell the restaurant is clean, however the food had no flavor.. not sure if it is an off day, but the Barilla meat was dry and chewy.(Over cooked) I did not get those bold Mexican flavors. Taste more American but still without any flavor. The sauces that came with it also lacked authentic Mexican Flavors
