Refreshing and upscale spot nicely situated downtown. Parking was easy. Menu felt small, but each item was perfected in each and every way. This is NOT your traditional Mexican food joint. This is fresh, modern , upscale dishes and ingredients. They also offered a small vegan menu, and oyster bar as well. The drink menu was well thought out and did not disappoint. I did feel a bit “undressed” for the environment in my tee shirt and gym shorts, so I’d recommend getting a little dressed up for your visit, but we were treated wonderfully regardless of our attire. Expect to pay between 15-20 for a dinner entree and between 10-13 for a specialty mixed drink. We will definitely be back again. And again. Well done Torti Taco!

Came here on Saturday with Dad. We were disappointed that they were out of oysters, but the service with good The same lady who worked at the Beckley one was our waitress.
We started with the Mexican Candy Shot flight. That was really good! I think the green apple one was my favorite, and it was really colorful. We also got a couple shots of the Sexy Mexican drink, and that was pretty good too, like a spinoff of the candy shots.
And then our food. We started with an al pastor quesadilla, which I’ve never heard of but was really good! They use the same al pastor sauce from the Beckley one! I got the fajitas mixtas because why not lol. Again, delicious! Not much to say since it’s just as good as Beckley My dads dish was incredible! He got the Molcajete de Mariscos. That was absolutely delicious! Awesome presentation too, and that seafood sauce is drinkable! For dessert I got the pan de elote. It tastes like of like cornbread and bread pudding had a baby. A delicious experience that we timed just right since they’re temporarily closing for renovations.

The portions here are amazing. We were visiting our relatives so they brought us here during Thanksgiving week. We had a large party so we called ahead and they had a table ready for us. The food was prepped and made quickly and tasted just amazing as it looked.

This place is amazing! Absolutely LOVE the oyster bar. The staff is friendly, service is quick, the facility is clean and food is absolutely fantastic. One of our favorite places in Battle Creek; we always take my out of town family there.

I freaking love this place!! Service is outstanding both times we have been there. The food and flavors are out of this world. The customs cocktails are mind blowing! If you’re craving big flavor Mexican that’s fresh come here!!

This place was pretty good. Prices were good, portions were good, and it was a nice lunch. Service was good, but we were the only ones in the restaurant, service was quick. My kids 6 and 11, split the pastor tacos combo, and my wife and I split the carnitas.

We were here on a Friday evening, they were busy but not packed. Plenty of seating was available. We got two of the seafood towers, mine was crab and my husbands was a mixed seafood. The quality of the ingredients was sublime. I highly recommend this location.

First visit and I WILL be coming back! Very fresh and delicious. I came for lunch and had the 2 tacos combo. Food quality and service excellent especially for the local scene and the value. They have a bar too. I will have to have a happy hour visit some time soon!
