I had the Penne di Dav(something). It was excellent. Penne pasta with Italian sausage and green peppers. Very, very flavorful with plenty of sausage. The penne was perfect, fully cooked and firm. I’m not normally a fan of green peppers, but these were good, enough to enhance the flavor but not so much to overwhelm.
Included was a good salad. The dressing was served in individual plastic cups which seemed out of place for the atmosphere, but it worked for me. We were also served bread and butter (oil & vinegar would have been nice, too) with the dinner. A member of our group commented that it would have been nice to have the bread with our salads.

Nonna Maria’s Ristorante is a little different and Know I Know why, with a small dinner venue erea that is simple and clean , the focus on the perfect meal experience can be obtained by the diner. The food is all about being the best you can enjoy if Italy. I had calamari and I almost fainted. It was exactly the way I had ordered it while I was stationed in Europe in the late 80s. And I could tell that no matter what I ordered I was and will be enjoying every bite! So Ordering a medium size supreme pizza had to be the ultimate truth. It was fantastic. Light flaky crisp crust the portion of toppings were to perfection. I suggest getting extra marinara sauce for dipping oh so good. This is why Nonna’s really depends on you calling ahead for take out, or inhouse dinning. Big rushes can over welm the patrons cause the art going into theas fine quizine can not be rushed. The waitresses and waiters must keep constant and you inpatients is not their desire. They want you to try the food and really do appreciate your business. Thank you for the delicious food today Nonna Maria’s Ristorante.

How can such a nice restaurant be empty on a Saturday evening? We were the only customers eating in the restaurant.
The food is good, although the chicken marsala is a little bland and watery. The ravioli and clam dishes were very good. The deserts (the cannoli is pictured) are excellent. So is the view.

First time to Nona Maria’s and our experience was 5 star. Attentive service combined with delicious food and a quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Recommend the linguine with shrimp and clams or a supreme pizza. Top it off with spumoni and a cannoli to complete the wonderful meal.

Ah the joys of italian food prepared by an Italian chef. The owner of Nonna Maria’s would beg to differ – he’s Corsican! According to him, they make the best Italian food.
Nonna’s is a pleasant, peaceful restaurant with a beautiful view of the surrounding, distant mountains and high desert landscape. The food is rich, tasty, and cooked to perfection. They have been in the Oracle area for over a dozen years and have a loyal local following which speaks volumes, perhaps even more than reviews like this. Their personal-sized pizza is my favorite, though I truly enjoy their Lasagna as
well. Lots and lots of menu choices will delight your pending hunger, that’s for sure.
Nonna’s is the place you go for that special meal in town, for a special occasion, a night to remember. You’ll enjoy both the excellent faire and the perfect Oracle venue on every visit because the chef is also one of the owners (his wife is, too). He runs a tight ship so you can count on quality every time you dine.

Food was delicious! More Sicilian-style Italian. Hearty and filling! Eggplant parm was amazing, as was the lasagna.

Honestly my only problem with the restaurant is two things. No bar seating even though they have a “bar” and the biggest issue is the owner seems to run most of the service to table. Tbh it’s chef Ramsey worst nightmare. But the pizzas are good.
