First time eating here and I was pleasantly surprised. The beef had an amazing flavor, seasoned perfectly. Everything was fresh. My son had the Trash Can Nachos, which he poured out and I took the picture of. DIL had a chicken and cheese quesadilla, also perfect. I ordered the 2 crunchy tacos and they were just amazing. The price was surprising, too. Only 52.00 plus tip for all the food we got and we ended up taking a lot of the nachos & quesadilla home. The place was clean, not crowded at all and we didn’t have to wait more than a couple of minutes to give our order. Overall, a great place with fantastic food and we’ll definitely be back.

Found this delightful little taco shop on a backwoods ride one day. We were immediately greeted by Bailey, who was super helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. My man got an overstuffed burrito that left him overstuffed. I got a taco plate one soft one crispy. Their ground beef is seasoned perfectly and we will be back. There was two guys working along side Bailey who was just as nice and informative as her. Great food, great atmosphere, great working dynamics. Yall try this little place out. You won’t be disappointed.

We have heard good things about this place, and finally made it there. All of us got the nachos. We loved how they made sure they spoke loud enough when asking what we wanted on our nachos. It was nice not having to ask them to repeat. The food was exceptional. Everyone with us got there nachos differently, and heard no complaints, just good things. The wait staff even though was busy was nice and pleasant, and the place was CLEAN!!! We all will be back. Since we started going there, we changed from Thursday to Taco Tuesdays. 3 tacos is more than plenty to eat, now we go every Tuesday. Get 6 tacos and it costs less than $20.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. They had healthy options to choose from. Our food was very good! We loved the chicken burrito bowl! Hubby said the margarita was good also!

Excellent stop, highly recommended… coming off the lake, they have great food, large beer and frozen drink selection,,, large portions. Wonderful and worth the wait if there’s a line.

Cool little place and decent prices for a place right by the lake. Had the burrito meal and trust me that burrito was stuffed. 1st time here and will definitely be back.

I guess I have to update my review for chubby’s because ordering me to go nachos with every single thing on it including fresh jalapenos sour cream and guacamole we’re not what I was given for $20 but instead the complete opposite and then was treated really when I called back and told I could bring it back in and they don’t give to go silverware or napkins with their to go orders. Just had knee surgery Monday, so it’s not exactly like I’m able to, and was very, very, specific while ordering, especially about making sure that we’re pickled and fresh jalapenos on it. So disappointed.

Good Mexican food. Great atmosphere by the lake (across street). Eclectic clientele with lakeside property owners mixed in with families visiting their summer vacation homes by the lake, a blend of RV tourists and some hard working locals sprinkled in. Makes for good conversations.
Staff is young and inexperienced but know enough about the restaurant business to be dangerous. As with all places you shop/eat, review your receipt.
Is this just another Mexican restaurant in small town Oklahoma… perhaps, but this one tries to be more Chipotle-like where they assemble your burrito in front of you. You pick what ingredients go onto your 12″ tortilla.
Standard meats(chicken, beef, pork), typical toppings, salsa, guacamole, cheese sauce, and all the veggies; corn, beans, rice, jalapenos, cilantro.
A bit overpriced like Chipotle as well. Wife and I got a burrito meal and a nachos meal and it ran us $30 with mil discount and tax exempt because I’m a 100% disabled veteran.
But, such is life: economy is getting to where the dollar will be worthless in a couple years. Time to get some crypto before the inevitable collapse of this iteration of the dollar. I’m glad I didn’t spend $100 at Chubby’s Cantina, but it’s coming folks, get ready. Move your money into land assets, gold, silver, and crypto. Not financial advice, so don’t listen to me.
