Had the brisket and Sausage with Jalapeño. The food was excellent and the sausage had a nice kick to it. Seating is very limited. Owner is extremely nice. Highly recommend to go. Open only Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Don’t be deicieved by this unassuming hole in the wall. I tried the brisket sandwich to go, it was served with a perfect portion of meat with pickles, onion and sauce on the side. The sauce seemed to be homemade with the taste of brown sugar shining through and paired nicely with the briskets’ smoky flavor. There’s not much of an area to dine in but I’m definitely not getting my brisket anywhere else and will definitely consider having them for catering.

I had the privilege of trying some brisket and both chicken and pork smoked tamales. The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had, The tamales were phenomenal, but the salsa is really something else!

I went today and ordered 2 lb of brisket a half a pound of sausage and the 16 oz beans. Sausage and beans were good as usual but the brisket was extremely hard and tough. My wife called and the owner wasn’t there. The person she did speak to said that when she got back he would let her know so that she could call, but she never did. I wanted to wait until I could talk with them before doing this review, because it is usually really good, but since they thought so little of us as customers, is the reason why I decided to go on ahead and write the review. It’s safe to say I won’t be going back.

A co worker had bragged about their barbacoa, so I came in and picked up a couple pounds. Unfortunately it was very dry, maybe this is how smoke barbacoa is supposed to be like. I gave it away to friends who agreed. Maybe I just got the bad batch. But bad or not it all cost the same. Just check your food before leaving.

Some of the best barbecue I have tried. They gave me a few samples on the house and I was thankful. The ribs, sausage and the brisket is just awesomeness! The barbecue sauce is different than what I’m used to but it was delicious not too sweet, not too tart, just right. I’m thankful I ran into this place on a Friday where they are offering smoked macaroni and cheese.. Wow, that’s delicious!!!

Wow this is best bbq joint in town for sure and owners are super kind and generous. The smoked meat are delicious of course, but the tamales with salsa are truly special and South Texan! gotta get in early and try!
