Street Cafe & Halal Foods is now under new ownership, and we are excited to continue serving the Niagara Falls community. As the new owners, we took over the restaurant with the goal of bringing fresh energy, great service, and high-quality food to our customers. We were inspired to join this business because of our passion for food and the opportunity to provide delicious, affordable meals to the local community. Its a nice place to have lunch if you are in the area, what attracted us the most was the pricing of the dishes. Its near to the falls and the server/cook was really good. We ended up sitting there for a couple hours. We have chicken tikka over rice, crab sandwich and chicken gravy with rice. If we visit another time will definitely visit this place.

The food was pretty good. I’m not big in Mediterranean food but I got the chicken n rice gyro and it was pretty tasty. My friend got a steak sub sandwich and he enjoyed the taste. The service/order taker at the counter was nice and patient. If u want something different and tasty this wud be a great option for the area(near the Senaca casino)

This is my first time writing a Google review, and I honestly wish I didn’t have to.
We ordered through Grubhub on Saturday. After waiting for over an hour and calling multiple times, someone finally answered and told us the restaurant was closed and would reopen on Monday. However, both Google Maps and Grubhub showed the restaurant as open.
Today (Monday), I went there in person around 4:00 PM, and it was closed again—even though Google Maps still says it’s open from 11 AM to 9 PM. I tried calling again around 5:30 PM just to confirm, but no one answered.
I’m only visiting for three days and was really hoping to try their food, especially since I’m pregnant. It’s very frustrating when the online hours don’t match reality.
Please update your hours on Google Maps, Grubhub, and Uber Eats so customers don’t get confused or waste their time.

Went for lunch and ask the cashier if it’s fresh cooked food, she assured it is freshly cooked, and all she brought after 20 minutes wait is frozen Patties that my kids can make in microwave. Will never recommend this restaurant

Finding the restaurant was easy and there was ample parking to accommodate easily about 5 cars.
We were greeted quickly upon entering and offering was very quickly and the food came within 15 minutes hot and as ordered.
We opted for mild this time and it was prepared as requested.
We ordered lamb and chicken wraps and fingers and chips.
The wraps were very nice. Succulent and complemented by the sauces.
The chips(fries)were okay and so too the chicken fingers. A bit over fried and a little dry. We did finish all so the taste was not bad.
Dining in was simple and felt homely.
It was clean and had receptacles for garbage which also were clean.
There was a bathroom which too was clean.
Altogether the environment was very nice and homely.
I would recommend and visit again if in area.

Great owner and even better food. Had a very unique taste. Have eaten at many Mediterranean sports in Toronto and I can reccomend this place. Was shocked that it was so good as I just walked by and decided to try. Worker is also very nice and hospitable.
