Did a quick lunch with my partner on his lunch break. He had been raving about this place and how it was the best gyro he’s had, so we stopped by together. I will say I have to agree with him that this is one of the best spots we’ve been to down this way. He got the spicy gyro wrap and I got the shawarma plate! Their rice pilaf is fluffy and their meats are so seasoned. We also got the grape leaf rolls and kabobs to go and also equally tasty.

I would highly recommend visiting if you’re thinking of it! The people working were so incredibly nice and friendly too. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a while, both in service and food.

We love Middle-Eastern food, so it probably wasn’t long after we moved to Minnesota in 1992 that we started eating at Beirut, the family-owned Lebanese restaurant that was on Robert Street until last year. The owners retired and their children opened up what I would call an annex in Rosemount.
The storefront fast casual place serves many of the favorite menu items from the old restaurant. We got the gyro plate with rice and the hummus bowl with pita.
The gyro meat was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, the rice was luscious and buttery as always, and the hummus was delicious.
Same food, same friendly family, same excellent service, just in a much smaller, less fancy venue. The only disappointment was the pita, which was served cold and left me dreaming of the warm, pillowy bread that we used to get in St. Paul.

First time having Beirut after their move out of West St. Paul. The taste has changed. Not sure if they dialed the flavors down a bit for the gringo palettes here in the south Metro. The falafel wrap was good but was lacking enough garlic paste to give it that extra zing. The hummus was flavorless with about half a cup of oil in the bottom of the container. The bread resembled bread made at a commercial bakery minus the label of the bakery on the bag. Served up cold. The quality for the price is lacking as you will see in the photos. **Adding to this review after the proprietor made some disparanging remarks in their reply. I guess the truth hit a soft spot to trigger such a lengthy response. As you read the proprietor’s responses to reviews that do not meet their liking, their words are not ones that would warrant a reviewer giving the restaurant a second chance. I haven’t**

We’ve stopped in many times to enjoy Beirut. The food is always delicious and consistent, and the staff is friendly and kind. Not only is the food amazing (especially the hummus!), they also support and give back to the local community. The owners are deeply committed to ensuring they provide incredible food that their customers will enjoy and come back for time and time again.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with great flavors, textures and colors! The salad was wonderful, the wraps flavorful and humus had a great balance. Certainly worth checking out

We LOVE Beruit – quickly became one of our favorite places to grab food! Great for both sit-down or takeout.

We have been there three times now, and that number surely will continue to climb

My husband and I love their falafel and shish ta’ook wraps. The garlic sauce – I’m obsessed (definitely only for people who truly like garlic as it’s very strong, which is why I love it). Their rice pilaf is fantastic and a huge portion – the falafel wrap was so filling, I ended up taking all the rice home – not a bad problem to have.

I’m incredibly picky about restaurant cleanliness and it is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to in a long time which is SO refreshing.

We have dealt with the female (I think owner) and the younger gentleman and they’re both so friendly when ordering and giving us our food.

We did get the steak and chicken shawarma which we didn’t love quite as much as the falafel and shish ta’ook but they were still good.

We have left so happy every time. I could eat the falafel wrap every day… but also want to try the other stuff on the menu that sounds so good

We’ll be back! Thanks Beruit!

My favorite Lebanese takeaway. I used to love their restaurant in West Saint Paul, and I now drive the extra 20 minutes to Rosemount simply because I love the food so much. And the Khoury Family. This is a 41-year old family-owned business.

Today I chose the beef-lamb kofta plate, while my daughter opted for the Habibi shawarma wrap. We also grabbed the 3-piece baklava and Shaiybiyet, my favorite Lebanese dessert.

Alas, we were so hungry, we wolfed down all the food before I could click photos. But hey, here’s a picture of me with my friend John Khoury.

We used their catering service for a work party and it was a great success! They delivered, set everything up, and helped us select a menu that our employees loved. The service and communication throughout the whole process was excellent. I had not eaten there prior to the catering order, but the food was so delicious I plan on stopping by the restaurant sometime soon!
