If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors with a fresh, modern touch, Khao Soi Thai Street Food in Magnolia is such a gem. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented.

The stir fried basil chicken with rice and a perfectly crispy fried egg was rich, savory and just the right amount of spice. The fried rice was packed with fresh vegetables and had that perfect balance of texture and flavor. And don’t skip the crap rolls, they were crispy, light and paired with a delicious sweet dipping sauce.

You can tell everything is made fresh.

The atmosphere is clean and welcoming.
There is also a spot right next door if you are craving dessert after.

Most excellent experience! I ordered spring rolls and Tom Yum. The food all came out hot, fresh, and offered incredible and intense flavor. The spice level was perfect, also loved the sauces that came with the rolls. The dining area was bright and clean. Service was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return and try another dish!

This place is a little slice of Thailand nestled into the Magnolia side streets. With a warm welcome and helpful staff, I felt so at home while enjoying an amazing papaya salad, Lao style and mild heat, with deep fried chicken. The chef personally delivered my meal and checked in on how the spice level was for me. Very attentive staff and heavenly delicious food. Thai green tea was the perfect sweetness to calm the spicy of the fresh Thai chili’s. And the gyoza were well filled and wonderfully crispy. If you’re looking for traditional Thai food without leaving the comforts of Magnolia, this is the spot for you!

What wonderful little gem for Thai food. So happy we got to finally try Khao Soi after speaking with the owners briefly while in the area as they were nearing their soft opening.

My friend and I swung by after work and were delighted by the hand drawn/painted wall art and cute decor. Very aesthetic and paid homage to Thailand.

The staff were friendly and inviting. All smiles and the menu was clean and very easy to navigate. We beat the dinner flood it seemed because it filled up shortly after we sat down.

I had to try the Khao Soi of course. I figured the dish must be the best as they named the restaurant after it and I was definitely pleased. Presentation and flavor hit the mark. Super savory coconut broth and melt in your mouth tender chicken. Loved the crispy wontons. My friend ordered the Drunken Noodles. Great flavors like a charred wok taste. Only thing is the beef was a bit tough.

Besides that the place was super clean. Find a seat, walk up to the counter, order and pay then wait for food to be served.

100% bringing friends and family here. I forsee they restaurant being very busy with possible lines to take a seat in the future.

To the chefs: Y’all are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great work and great flavors. Best Thai food I’ve had in the area!

We visited for the first time on November 11 and arrived right at opening. The staff assisted us immediately and took the time to explain the menu in detail. The Owner mentioned that they use real Thai chili, and I appreciated seeing my dish being made fresh in the open kitchen. The restaurant has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and overall, I really enjoyed the experience.

1st time visit…We went for a late lunch, pleasantly surprised as we found top notch food, atmosphere and service.
We had 3 entrees: Combo Drunken Noodles, Combo PadThai, Chicken Fried Rice and a Combo Larb Salad…all medium spice.
The food was awesome… fresh, hot and excellent presentation! The service was above and beyond.
Will go back soon to try the Pork Belly items!

SO GOOD!! It’s kind of dangerous that I can walk to this place. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp. It came out so quick, hot and absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and the portion is plenty for two meals. People unfamiliar with Thai spice, choose your spice level with caution. I ordered medium and it was perfect!
They were also super friendly! I can’t wait to come back to try other items from the menu as well as their Thai bento box lunch special. Highly recommend this cute place!

So this is always been my favorite Thai place outside of Thailand, of all strange places to be they used to be in a gas station. But now they’ve opened their own location. The ambience fits much better with the quality of the food, and the people are wonderful. You cannot go wrong with any of the curries a pad Thai, any of the spring rolls and believe it or not I tried to type tea which I’ve never tried before and it’s delicious too.
