Lovely little bbq joint just off 1488. Always hot and fresh with a quick service and happy attitude. Definitely try their load potato, that is a usual for our order but today we opted out. They have a nice little indoor seating area if you don’t want to sit outside but usually the weather is nice enough you don’t need to. Definitely recommend stopping by or even calling in an order.

I think these are probably the BEST pinto beans I’ve ever had! Nice thicker sauce, great hint of red pepper, tender cooked but not overcooked. Perfect. Oh, yeah the brisket was juicy and tender, the Mac and cheese loaded, and some delicious flour dusted huge onion rings. Definitely a fabulous pick for a quick late lunch or early dinner for us at 4pm.

Best New BBQ restaurant around. I was really surprised at how extensive their menu was. Something for everybody.
Food was excellent!!! I did the 3 meat plate (only $15.99) and 2 sides along with an order of their homemade Onion Rings and a Banana Pudding for desert. My wife said it was the best Banana Pudding ever.
Anyway, everything we had was great. Looking forward to returning!!!
Also, they are gearing up for crawfish season with expanded seating and parking!!

I tried this place when it first opened. I wasn’t impressed. They charge extra for bbq sauce…who does that.
My coworker said their Mac and cheese was great so when a group ordered I decided to try it. Mine came back NOT a pint. So it was not the amount advertised. It was Luke warm and hard dried Mac throughout, one pic is as I opened, second is of dried up Mac.
Wait time was pretty bad too. They said only one person working but there wasn’t anyone there but me and another already eating.

I stayed at a cabin nearby and it was the closest place to get food. I was a bit bummed at first because I wanted a loaded baked potato, but they were out of potatoes. So, I ended up getting a brisket sandwich, and let me tell you, it was the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had!

I have eaten here many times and have always had great food, but this time the brisket was fatty and there was very little of it. I ordered the pinto beans as one of my sides and there was literally two spoon fulls.

Be very careful on how you order your food! Like on my potato, I asked for a lean sliced beef potato and got a chopped beef potato. I had to go back and order some separate sliced beef. I did not specifically state no fries for ny burger I only wanted onion rings. So I got both fries and onion rings and paid for both. And you only get 10 onion rings for a large. Therefore after I paid for both tickets I ended up paying $72.80 for just 2 people! And of course we had leftovers but we didn’t even touch the chopped beef or the fries. Best of luck to the next customer who orders. Please be very clear when ordering your food!
