The food is delicious and very reasonably priced for group eating, I loved the bangchan and all the sauces they provide for the meats, everything was tasty even the new to us foods. The staff does explain to you what everything is and they are all very nice, they even gave candy to my friend for her birthday just from noticing us with presents.

Mr. KBBQ in Kokomo offers a descent experience overall. The parking lot is a bit unorganized with some potholes that made arrival a little inconvenient, but once inside things improved. There’s plenty of seating available, which makes it easy for groups, and the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. The restaurant itself was tidy and efficient, with water easily accessible right away. The food was good and came out fresh, though I’d say the prices leaned on the higher end. Service was present and handled the basics but didn’t go above and beyond.

If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Korean food, check this place out! There aren’t many options for good Korean food in Indiana, but this place was really amazing. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and portions were huge. The inside of the restaurant did get smoky from the other tables doing BBQ, but it wasn’t bothersome (you will be smelling like kbbq when you leave though). Each table has a button you can press that alerts the servers that you need something (they don’t check up on you frequently like in American restaurants, but that is normal in Korean restaurants). I’m from out of town, but would make the hour drive just to eat here again in a heart beat.

Their food is still incredible! We tried the bossam and fried dumplings this time, which were delicious. One of the servers remembered me from my last visit/review and was so sweet. Please support this wonderful restaurant!

My Chicken Wings were delicious. However the LA Kalbi my wife ordered was burnt. Even if it wasn’t burnt to a crisp, they only give you two pieces. On top of the small portions and poor quality, it was over priced, basically the price of unlimited at other restaurants. The side dishes were lacking, like no effort was put into them. The Mool-nangmyun was tasty but filled ice which made it too cold. Couple ice cubes would have been fine. The service is great for a Korean restaurant as the servers were friendly. The rice was closer to Indian rice vs korean rice, maybe they had a supply issue? It’s a new restaurant so I’m sure they will figure out how to fix these issues.

This is easily the best restaurant in Kokomo. If you have not been yet, you should go immediately. Everything here is amazing. I have not had better Korean food anywhere. Everything is always fresh, the portions are huge, and the staff is amazing. I will definitely be back again.

Mr. K Korean Restaurant is truly one of the best spots in Kokomo. The food is absolutely delicious and tastes very authentic. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff are extremely kind and welcoming.

Outstanding. The food was wonderful, service was exceptional, the restaurant was extremely clean. It made for a wonderful outing with family. The price is well worth it based on the delicious tastes, Endless sides and huge portions. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes or in my case loves Korean food.

We visited on October 19, 2024 for lunch. It was our first visit and my husband and I were excited to try out some of our local restaurants.
From the moment we walked in we were kindly greeted and shown to a squeaky clean table. The place was tidy and the staff were friendly. Looking over the menu we found it to be full of really great options. After careful consideration we ordered the Rame, the jjajangmyeon and a hot stone bowl full of bright fresh goodies. Sadly they were out of the ramen and we opted instead for the kimchee pork stew.
The food came out very quickly and I noticed that the staff used rolling carts to deliver the food instead of carrying hot items from the kitchen. Very smart and appreciated.
Everything was delicious and we ended up bringing home a lot of leftovers as the portion sizes were very generous. They brought us some containers as well as a bag to carry it out. How thoughtful and attentive.
After all was said and done we paid and decided that the next time we visit we will try the ramen and the jjajangmyeon again because it was absolutely delicious.

This restaurant is so good it makes me wanna cry. Wild how there’s a top tier kbbq spot all the way in the middle of rural indiana. I think it’s a sign from God that I need to move here from California.

Came here with my parents and was not disappointed. Food was very fresh and portions are very big! Delicious food and would 100% give it a try. They make their dumplings in house (sadly forgot to take picture…) and you really don’t see that in many places!
Great customer service and atmosphere as well. Cannot wait to go back with friends and family.
