Well I was going to give the restaurant 4.5 stars despite some of the discrepancies I seen, the server was great and very polite my wife and I enjoy the food even though we felt it was over priced for the size of the community and would have been more appropriate if it was in a stand alone location in my opinion. I went to ask the staff if it would be ok if I mentioned the chefs name in my review as I was on a restaurant investigation for my Culinary arts class ,they were polite but did not want to cooperate and give me the cooks name and even though I seen one of the cooks while the curtains opened eating from the grill while cooking my overall experience was pretty good. Clean and relaxing we enjoyed ourselves for the most part maybe not my wallet Lol. Happy Eats bon appetit.

Getting food to go or to dine in, had several very good experiences here. They dont have a sushi happy hour, but they have a number of very good selections and are not opposed to removing items if you can’t have something. I can’t have gluten (crunchies, fried items, soy/eel sauce), and they were very accommodating. The miso soup is delicious and definitely was a great experience for somewhere in the middle of Georgia.

It was wonderful I had an amazing date there. Food was great. The girl was even better 15/10. Nice laid back atmosphere to talk. Only complaint was drinks and check service. Staff was awsome up till after food was ordered. No one else walked in but I took a while after to get drinks topped off, check and pay for bill. But I was enjoying my date far to much for it to be an issue. But I still noticed it. Still 5 stars for food quality. I’d rather have that over service any day.

Placed a to go order and the food was excellent. We had the steak, salmon and chicken hibachi. All were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had spicy tuna roll, Philly roll, and hwy 75 roll which was a great choice. Sushi was rolled tight and didn’t fall apart and was delicious. Definitely will be going back.

I am not one to complain-especially publicly. However, I feel this should be said. My family and I called the Japanese place in Barnesville beforehand to see if they were open for dine in and could accommodate a big group of 12-half of which were kids & half were adults. We got there and it only had one booth being occupied by a couple, and one waitress out front. As soon as we all walked in she huffed, rolled her eyes and started slamming the tables together to seat us. She was extremely rude and it showed from the moment we walked in. So, naturally my family and I decided to turn right around and take our business elsewhere. We drove a bit further and got much better service at Saki in Griffin. Again, I don’t usually publicly complain but I felt it was necessary. Toki sushi & steak house, do better.

The customer service here is great! As is really any food item on the menu. The only real issue with this restaurant is; the price. If you can afford to eat here every night, you will definitely an amazing meal every night, but even eating alone a decent portion size could run you around 16 bucks and that’s not even considering tip. If you are on a budget and can only afford an item or two, I strongly recommend the Hwy 75 (might be 57) roll which is a deep fried sushi roll that I believe eclipses most of the other sushi on offer. If you’re not into sushi, try one of the hibachi dishes as they strike a nice balance between quality and affordability (at least for the restaurant you’re in). Worth noting is that there are alcoholic beverages served here including Sake if you are feeling adventurous. Here’s a tip, you will have sauce trays and chopstick rests on your table, if you ask for any sauce they offer the server will bring some out and fill your sauce tray with it! Try it sometime, also authentic green tea is a great choice for those wanting to have a more authentic experience. Overall a great experience with some of the friendliest wait staff in Barnesville.

My partner and I went on a Friday evening at around 7-8pm. It was crowded and all the tables were taken. I believe we waited a good 15-20 minutes ( not that we minded). Due to said wait, the staff gave us a free dessert at the end of our night :). It was delicious and so was the rest of our food. I’ve been there 3 times and am heading there as I am writing this. It’s a small area so I wouldn’t advise to go there during busy times unless you don’t mind the wait.

Pleasantly surprised in Barnesville. Great food, flavor, portions and price. We had the Fantastic roll, TNT roll, hibachi(s), soups and salads. Service and atmosphere were great. We will be returning. Definitely recommend Toki Sushi and Steakhouse on Main Street .

This restraunt was clean and our server was good. The fish on our sushi was a little mushy and flavorless.. The food looked good but the flavors were very weak. The Wasabi had no bite at all. All in all we were disappointed by the experience and will not return
