Years ago we met a few times a year halfway in Carroll and usually eat at the same spot. This time I wanted something new and I got it. We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday and the place was already starting to fill up. We ordered the yummy dill pickle spears before we ordered off the special 5 pm menu. It was worth the wait because the food was amazing. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. I ordered the blacked steak sandwiche with blackened fries. I highly recommend! Every one enjoyed their meal. We will be back!

First of all, our server was wonderful, and really fun! I’m sorry I can’t remember her name! I had the thickest, juiciest, most delicious Tenderloin EVER, with the BEST Sweet Potato Fries! My family had 2 different burgers, and a salad with salmon. We all enjoyed our meals very much!

I was in town with a group of 10 to tour the Templeton Distillery in Templeton. That evening, we walked in to wanted grain with no reservation and they got our group right in and our orders in. Service was great!
We ordered cheese balls, haystack, and prime melt. All were absolutely fantastic! I would recommend then to everyone. The only suggestion would be to fry the cheese balls and onion rings a little longer – I like them a little crispy.

Nice place with decent food. It can get loud, but overall, the team and food are worth the stop. A nice addition is the variety of sandwiches that offers a nice twist from the classic bar food. More refreshing and lighter palate options with a cocktail menu that changes up with the holidays and seasons.

Food was okay. Onion rings greasy and they are those skinny kind, not the large and juicy ones. The environment overall was very festive and upbeat, table of ladies who had too much to drink next to us. The dessert was a joke – called a “7 Layer Chocolate Cake” it was stupid small and a ripoff. We complained to the waitress and she acted like she thought we were joking. Couple of young staff spent more time gazing into each other’s eyes than pre-bussing, seating, or helping the servers. Overall, good place to go if you want to drink or know someone who works there so you get taken care of, but the menu pricing, portion sizes, and lack of concern by wait staff make this place too expensive and too much a gamble for us to go back. Good place to go if you want to waste a bunch of money. They need a manager for the front of house to see what is really going on.

Our group had the onion rings, mother cluckers chicken, and the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side salad and each was excellent. Great service with friendly helpful servers. Definitely one of the best dining options in the area. I do recommend it and we will be back soon.
