Everything we had was incredible. The salad I had was beautiful, and the pastries were divine. Coffee was good. My friend’s sandwich disappeared fast. We didn’t realize there wasn’t seating at the cafe (covid safety measures), so we walked a couple blocks to Washington park. Will definitely be back ASAP to pick up lunch but won’t try to meet friends there for now. Honestly though I’m really glad to see safety measures in place while so many businesses return to carelessness.

This bakery continues to sell bread, pastries and a limited breakfast and lunch menu through a window counter as they did at the beginning of the pandemic. Their items are all displayed from a glass window and are a tad more expensive than other Pasadena bakeries. The croissants and morning bun are mediocre at best.

The best bread and food made with love. I’m not sure people understand what goes into making artisan bread but Seed does it so well! I’m so glad they survived the pandemic. The eggplant sandwich is a favorite of mine.

Seed Bakery is one of the best bakeries in Los Angeles. It also has excellent sandwiches and salads. Currently, everything is take-out. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality and expertise they show in their baking and in everything that they make. We’ve been coming here for years, and it is very very consistent in quality.

Sourdough bread is amazing ! My pastry was just OK (it was also very expensive). There is nowhere to sit down and enjoy what you just bought! They put a table outside WITH NO CHAIRS. That’s just not nice. I also could barely hear the workers because there’s a big glass barrier between them and the customer and they are also wearing a mask. LOL!

Fresh organic ingredients, responsibly raised meats, fair trade coffee. Great little bakery with delicious breakfast and sandwiches.

I’ve had the sandwich bread and rye so far and both loaves were the best bread I’ve ever had. Delicious and perfectly textured. The pastries I’ve tried have also been tasty! Highly recommend.

Wanted to give a three star because the pastries are good, but the person who we spoke to in person had the worst attitude. We bought 2 pastries and 2 sandwiches and one baguette. We went home and found a live worm in our pull pork sandwich, we called in to notify them and the lady we spoke to was really nice and refunded us the sandwich amount but asked us to bring back the sandwich. We went out of our way to bring back the sandwich and packaged the worm to show them, but the guy who we spoke to had the audacity to reply haven’t you ever had worms in your food before? This is the problem when you have organic greens, and fresh greens. Trying to excuse themselves saying their ingredients are very fresh. I think this is the problem when you don’t wash your greens properly. I really wanted to like this place because it was highly referred by a friend but the way they handled this was so unacceptable. With this type of respond we will never come back again. I’m just glad my kid didn’t eat the sandwich as I was about to split half. As for the baguette we prefer the Vietnamese restaurants. But that’s our preference.

Delicious! I had the ham, leek, and egg panini…so simple but so good. Also split a few pastries, which tasted as good as they looked. Also took a country loaf home, which made for excellent bread and butter as well as grilled cheese.
