Okay so the service wasn’t bad. Uriel was very nice & whoever was back there in a windbreaker jacket was nice as well. The food though?? These chicken tenders are about the size of my pinky… Very thin. With my combo meal i got 13 french fries. Yes i counted. They need some salt or something on them as well. Just biting plain potato. Mashed potatoes were pretty good. I still think KFC was a better choice than this…. So thicker tenders, MORE FRIES PLEASE, and some SALTT!!

This place is it interesting, good but interesting. Been here two different times, chicken most of the time is cold or lukewarm at best. The sides I’ve had are slaw, Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes, and all of them including the chicken have a kind of sweet taste to it I can’t put my finger on. It’s weird, good but weird.

Terrible…if I wanted chicken toothpicks, I could’ve asked someone for chicken bones. Absolutely gross. 10/10 would not recommend. Go right behind them, dongs has better chicken. If I could rate 0 stars for this chicken I would. Should be named Churches Texas Chicken Jerky. They got me once, but never again.

I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. I waited 5 min then they asked me to pull around. Waited another 5. The bag seemed light??
When I got home I was literally flabbergasted. Omg.. the (For lack of a better word) patty..was about twice the size of a silver dollar..50% smaller than the bun., and it was literally exactly the same thickness as a silver dollar. 3/16” thick with 1/8” breading. A joke. I was waiting for Ashton Kusher to stick his head around the door and say you’ve been punked. I cannot believe ANYONE would ever order that sandwich twice. KFCs sandwiches have a fairly good size piece of breast meat and Popeyes have a huge piece of breast. This “patty” looked like the tongue of a boot.
As Gomer Pyle said, fool me once shame on you.. you won’t get me a second time.
6 months you won’t be in business. If KFC couldn’t make it.. you don’t stand a chance.

Our experience with this establishment was ‘mixed’ for our first time visiting. Staff was friendly and food was good however our order wasn’t correct and the restaurant & bathroom was very dirty. Leftover food/crumbs/napkins were all over the floor. We had to wipe off our own table because every table was literally dirty and there were only two customers in the entire place besides us. Not sure how clean it was behind the counter, I was afraid to look.

WOW! I didn’t think there could be a worse chicken company than KFC… I was wrong. Ordered online, went through drive thru (should’ve known better) had to wait 20 minutes before getting to intercom, another 10 minutes before being asked if I had been helped or not.
Then when I get home and unpack my over priced meal my large side of mashed potatoes is actually 3 tiny individual sides of mashed potatoes and gravy. 4 tiny biscuits in a box large enough to hold an entire chicken.
The breast of the chicken ARE THE SAME SIZE, IF NOT SMALLER THAN THE THIGHS! Another mediocre chicken company coming to town to make a quick buck!

Not from this area but stopped here to eat on 2/7/2026 time was around 2 in the afternoon and was craving this so badly because Churches are far and few between. Now we walk in and there’s only a couple with a kid eating so we walk up to the cash register to order and the guy was so very rude and really acted like he didn’t want us there he act like he couldn’t hear and my husband and I kept repeating the order. There was 2 females one in street clothes in the back and while we were trying to eat our terrible food that we spent $32:dollars on he’s singing loud and cursing in the back. Chicken strips was old fries was cold coleslaw was dry biscuits you could throw and break a window Spicy rice was mushy.

I’d guess a lot of these ratings are from the old franchise that was in this location. We’ve gotten chicken meals to take home 3 times since it’s become Church’s and had good experiences every time. The staff is friendly and honest and the spicy chicken just can’t be beat from any chain restaurant!

I went in mooresville store. Simple order of 2,pieces of white chicken deal . Macaroni was cold and doughy biscuit . Chicken was dark meat and half cooked. Nothing was eatable. Guess not trained workers too busy playing around. Pissed as you can bet we won’t be back. They would not answer phone. Good thing we didn’t check the food before we got home . It would not been good as they thought it was funny. I should have known less than 2 mins we got our food , there’s your sign! Live and learned wasted money on garbage my cats wouldn’t eat.
