Taqueria De Anda-Grill

The people were nice but the chicken tacos were doused in a red sauce. I thought they had gotten it wrong at first because I ordered the chicken tacos plain but nope…their plain chicken is chicken slathered in red sauce.

I’m not sure if their chicken is bad quality and they have to cover that up or if they just think plain chicken should be literally dripping in sauce lol but either way chickens the only taco I can have so this place won’t work for me.

If you want a chicken enchilada taco however, you’d love it.

The chicken burrito was good. I like mine grilled and they did that for me. The beans and green sauce had a lot of flavor. It was a little smaller than I was expecting but that’s fine. The ambiance was nothing special but the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The only reason that they’re getting 4 stars rather than 5 is because of the portion size. I’ve been frequenting Taqueria De Anda for years at several of their other locations and this was the smallest burrito I’ve ever had from any of their establishments. Overall it was a good experience.

Food is prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients. Service is friendly, the place is clean and they offer a wide range of fountain and bottled drinks. Tacos are regular small size but well served with enough meat. They have a self served salsa bar stocked with cilantro, onions, lime and two salsas.

We had our food delivered. It was pretty quick.

Overall the food was pretty bland. We had: steak tacos, surf & turf bowl, surf & turf burrito, and chicken quesadilla.

Unfortunately all the meat was bland. We’ll likely skip out in future.

Got some holiday pork tamales here just to try them out…I’ve now gone back two other times to get them! Very moist (especially the masa) and full of flavor (the chicken tamales were a little bit more dry, so I opted for the pork). Hopefully they will be serving them after the holidays so I can get more!!

Save your money! I had a disappointing experience with the staff. When I called to add to my order, the woman assisting me immediately said no without any flexibility. On top of that, my food was cold. I live just 4 minutes away, so there’s no reason for it to be that cold when it arrived. Way overpriced for the type of service given and food quality.
