We were looking for an Asian fine food dining experience for a buddies golf trip and tried LIPA for the first time. The ambiance is open air fresh meets casual exotic.
The sushi and sashimi rolls are expertly presented, full of flavour and melt in your mouth. My personal favourite was the ‘Hot Mess’ roll. The mocktails are their specialty and a must if you visit.
The food took some time to arrive due to a large event. However the food and staff made up for it. They were very personable and attentive and we very much enjoyed getting to know our server Maria who had great suggestions on the menu, David who checked in on us, and establishment owner Alex who we chatted with throughout the evening.
Would highly recommend LIPA for a special occasion or a cool spot for sashimi and mocktails. We’ll be back for sure!

Yet, the sushi rolls falter, burdened by too much rice and tempura, veering away from culinary excellence. The cocktail, meant to intrigue, instead resembles coconut-flavored mineral water, lacking depth. Amidst this, the waiters shine brilliantly, offering swift and attentive service that nearly redeems the experience.

It’s our new favorite sushi place. We loved the atmosphere, the Italian manager Davide literally made our dining experience, THE BEST experience.

Can’t serve 2 hours worth of food over 4 hours. What we did get served was excellent but slow. Manager and staff were obviously disappointed in themselves which probably means this isn’t the norm. But this place isn’t going to make it if they don’t get the pace right.
