Best ice cones and popcorn since 1934! Gus put two kids and helped two grandkids get thru college with hard work running this cart biz! Park here, Grab a bag of popcorn on your walk to Heinz Field. Tennis courts and national aviary mins away.

All the staff are extremely nice and it is a family business, they hand shave the ice from a big ice block in their cart. They also sell beer, popcorn, and peanuts! The ice has many flavors including but not limited to: blueberry, cherry, watermelon, root beer, and much more! The owner is there almost daily and is very nice. 5/5 stars!

Incredibly charming little shaved ice stand in the north side of Pittsburgh. The prices were great, and the popcorn and shaved ice were very tasty. Lots of flavors to choose from with the shaved ice! Definitely worth a trip if you are ever in the north side.

An iconic Pittsburgh institution that you definitely need to experience. Gus and his crew are always super friendly. The icy balls, peanuts, and popcorn are all super tasty and hit the spot on a hot Summer day.

The owner of the Gus and yiayia’s is the nicest person I’ve ever met. He is so sweet and has so much knowledge on the history of Pittsburgh. Definitely recommend to visit and at least say hi to him.

Cool little snack and ice ball stand. The 2 guys running the stand were super nice. We got 2 ice balls, orange and cotton candy. Great price on all snacks and ice. Would highly recommend. We even got a history of the cart stand and got to see a laminted sheet with more info/pictures. Gus was there hanging out too
