My partner and I have made the stop into Emerald Garden a few times, and we totally love the atmosphere. The dim lit ambiance and red decor remind me of almost a speakeasy type vibe, and with Budda all nestled in the corner of a booth, it compliments the restaurant nicely. The food is absolutely amazing, and I feel like Amber and I have a new favorite place to have drinks. listen to music, and eat delicious Chinese food. The potstickers were really good with the dipping sauce. The salt and pepper shrimp, house chow mein, and chicken and veggie stir fry was all very delicious and big portion size. One thing is for sure, when you visit Enerald Garden, you had better bring your appetite along with you. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time. The service was great. Matt is a very good guy, and we had fun getting to know him and other patrons who frequent this location.

I hate to leave a bad review for a local business like this but I ordered take out today that was actually some of the worst food I have ever received from a restaurant. I have ordered here before, not often as we have a favorite chinese restaurant that was closed today, but the food we had today really lacked taste and was just improperly cooked. The chicken was dry and chewy and the fried rice was really tasteless. I’m sure this is a great bar, everyone who was working was so nice and kind and the place had a cool vibe, but I definitely will not be ordering food from here again.

The lounge is small and intimate. The bartender is personable, attentive, and all around amazing. We were hesitant to order food as no one else in the lounge was eating, but we gave it a chance. This is the best Chinese food I’ve had on the Eastside. We ordered hot & sour soup, pot stickers, and schezwan crispy chicken. This is a new favorite and we will be regulars in no time.

The food came out promptly and was prepared as stated on the menu. The service was great and so were the drinks. I noticed that instead of offering to make it right, you chose to try to belittle me. Sad.
Did EVERYONE notice the owners responce??? I ENJOYED my experience there??? I’LL NEVER BE BACK!!! She didn’t say ” reach out ” like almost every other owner does… WOW!! That says everything!
We have never been back and never will be!! There are too many places who value their customers to come back there. I can’t imagine a restaurant who could even BEGIN to care less about their customers!

We went in for drinks and take out. The bartender Lori was great as usual. ( that’s why the second star. )
The food however took way too long and when it FINALLY arrived it was almost all noodles! It had 3 or 4 pieces of beef and that was it. No chicken, pork or shrimp.
Don’t worry though, they did charged full price for both.

We previously really enjoyed this place, but tonight we ordered takeout and the chicken was so dried out it was inedible. That’s a tough pill to swallow when dishes are roughly $20 a piece. I probably won’t revisit for a bit, but if I do will def steer clear of chicken dishes.

Great locals bar where first timers feel welcome. Drinks are respectfully priced, service was great and you can tell many memories have been made here. Definitely more of a well drinks bar, but also has some of the classics of beer and I’m guessing wine.

I travel a lot and will look for highly rated places to have lunch/ dinner when I want to get out of my Air BnB for a bit. I usually don’t eat Americanized Chinese food b it’s often fried and oily. They just happened to be near the park I was going to hike in and got decent ratings. DO NOT regret it one bit! They accommodated extra vegetables and light sauce, cooked the vegetables perfectly! And offered a house chili sauce. It was so yummy! The atmosphere is a bit bar like, but I read in one of their responses to a review that that was point. They are looking to be unique, and that’s exactly what I look for! Loved the experience! Also noticed there were a lot of locals, which is a testament to their popularity. I’m walking back over for my dinner for the rest of the week!

Great little hidden gem in the Kirkland/Juanita area! The Salt & Pepper Wings are Thos place never disappoints. Food continues to be great along with the service. Shannon the bartender, provides great customer service!
