If you’ve never tried gamjatang (Korean pork bone soup), this is the place to start.
The broth is unbelievably rich, deep, and packed with flavor slow simmered for hours until it turns into pure comfort in a bowl. The pork literally falls off the bone, and the portion is huge!
If you’re going with three people, order the large size!
it’s the perfect amount to share. This spot in Carrollton truly does it right. And don’t forget to order the fried rice at the end! it’s the best way to finish the meal!

A somewhat out of the ordinary culinary experience. The stew of pork rib/spine is not something I’d had before.

Flavors were slightly muted. Not bad just the volume was turned quite low, at least compared to dozens of other Korean dishes I’ve had.

The complimtary kimchi was quite tasty.

Decore is a little bland, but that’s fine. It’s not that kind of flashy place.

Service was great.

This restaurant deserves its own post today for the extraordinary hospitality that I’ve only see in K dramas. That poignant scene where after a long day of work, all I needed was hot soup to rejuvenate. I must have looked like that when I walked into this restaurant. The server placed my utensils, brought out the food, showed me how to eat it and kept telling me to “enjoy!” I could feel her genuine warmth. She kept checking on me, urging me to indulge in more radish. She said “have more, you’ll love it”. My stomach was full, my heart was overflowing with joy. If you’re in Ktown Carrollton need to experience this small business. The pork bones are overflowing with tender meat. People like her, treating strangers with heart and meaningful gestures made me feel warm. 5 stars ⭐️ reviews for this restaurant.

I’ve always missed the gamjatang I used to enjoy back in Korea, so I was very happy to find a top-tier gamjatang place in our area where I could experience the authentic taste of home. The broth is rich and deep in flavor, and the meat is generous, which made the meal very satisfying. It tasted exactly like the gamjatang I used to have in Korea, which made it even more special. If you’re looking for truly delicious gamjatang, I highly recommend this place!

The gamjatang was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was excellent!
We truly enjoyed our lunch — every bite was packed with flavor. Could this be the best gamjatang spot in Dallas? I think so! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Korean comfort food.

I had such a great experience here! The owner was very nice and she helpful in explaining the menu. I ordered the Hae Jang Guk togo. I live over 30 minutes away and made a stop at Mozart bakery after and the soup was still so hot when I made it home. You can tell they make their dakion and cabbage kimchi fresh in small batches because it was delicious and not overly fermented. The soup had amazing flavor and they give generous portions of the pork bones, which have plenty of meat, with each order. I had enough for leftovers tomorrow. Great value and absolutely delicious!

I ordered the small gamjatang and shared it with my parents and it was more than enough! Each bone is packed with so much meat that falls right off the bone and it pairs perfectly with the flavorful soup. I personally recommend you to pay $5 extra (per serving) for the fried rice after, it uses the soup from the dish and it tastes amazing! I would definitely come again and recommend this to anyone!

I found a jewel in Carrollton, TX! This restaurant originally came from Suwon, South Korea.

The main menu, the bone haejangguk(hangover) soup has an impressive rich and deep flavor that does not come from a quick, high heat cooking, but a deep and well balanced flavors that are well mixed and cooked just perfect. And you dont have to travel to Korea for such delicious tasting, bone hangover soup. If you drink and experience a hangover, come on down to experience all healthy, natural healing the bone haejangguk soup. If you need more energy or want to Jumpstart your day, this is the soup! The meat attached to the bones is more than satisfying but far too much for a meal in any restaurant near Dallas. Even though there are only two pieces, you can eat until you are full thanks to the generous amount of meat.
The side dishes were neat. The kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and kimchi are very tasty and healthy food.
The price and value for money are also excellent. I highly recommend everyone to try their lunch special for $10.99.
And Jessica who served me several times made my dining experience like home. She is very kind and smart enough to know her customer’s needs instantly. She is a natural servant of great heart with a smile that fits perfect to the philosophy of 1 Inja Gamjatang (no. 1 Gamjatang).
Don’t miss this lunch special!!! Visit and experience the most delicious food in Dallas!

We stopped by for lunch and noticed that only one person (possibly the owner) was working the front. It was our first time there, so we were a little unsure at first, but he was very patient, explained everything clearly, and was super friendly.

We ordered a medium gamjatang for four of us and added ramen noodles and fried rice. The portions were generous, and we left feeling very full and happy. The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at IIinja Gamjatang and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family.

The service was top-notch – our server Young Hui was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. I had it was absolutely delicious.

I particularly enjoyed their signature dish spicy pork hotpot which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The presentation was also impressive, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and creativity.

Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their delectable offerings.
