Rocco’s is new to our little town of Clark Fork Idaho.

Pizza’s good. It was just a bummer to see four young kids and teens run into the trailer while the young man was trying to make my food. Also, when I arrived, he was playing on his phone, and twice, had to run next door to get supplies. He blamed his sister for not restocking yet could have done it himself before opening. That cost him a good tip. Oh, well, maybe he’ll read this and learn. Of course, the parents could teach good business and health safety.

I moved to CF last summer and keep driving by Rocco’s and finally stopped by after a suggestion by the fine folks at the post office. I bought a pepperoni pizza – $9.99 for a personal-sized pizza, which was easily two servings, either for leftovers or for two adults. It was very tasty and I must admit it was eaten before I even got home. Lots of pepperoni, homemade-tasting sauce, and a chewy crust – perfect! Stop by and support a local family and their endeavor. We live just outside of Clark Fork near the Montana border so “going out to eat” is a major deal since our options are pretty limited. We got a mailer for Rocco’s which told us that they were actually up and running. We weren’t ever really sure before that. We decided to try them on a Saturday evening. We ordered a pesto veggie pizza and a sausage pizza. The flavor was outstanding on both. I know they’re in a food truck, and I’m sure it presents challenges, but if I had to pick on something, I’d say the bake was inconsistent. One pizza crust was nicely done while the other was a bit underbaked. Not a tragedy, it was still quite tasty. I hope they do well here. I’d definitely go back!

Pizzas were great, unfortunately the women taking our order was very rude, got mad that I paid with cash. I’ve heard great things but the women taking the orders was so rude I’ll never go back.
