Came from Florida with friends chasing the northern lights. Stop by Blind Pig and received a great welcomed by everyone. They (Mathew and his mom), advised us of great spots to see them.
Had a great time at this place. Bartender made made us feel home with a great expresso martini and expresso coffee…memorable!

There is no BBQ here, pics are very misleading. Half of it is crossed out, the only things left are hot dogs, brats, pizza, fryer items, and sandwiches. We ordered pulled pork hoping it would be decent. Our food came out 30 seconds later, obviously just microwaved and put on a plate. It was barely warm and had no flavor, just slow cooker pork.
Services is not great, we were up to explore voyageurs national park. The bartender appeared annoyed with us and was very unfriendly. I’m guessing since we weren’t locals, we were not treated as nice as everyone else in the bar was. We were ignored after ordering our food and a drink.
Beer selection is good. Interior is nice and locals seemed decent. I wish they were serving food like the pics showed.

Don’t let the pics fool you. There is no BBQ and the menu is run of the mill, nothing exciting. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza and appetizers from the fryer. Decent beer selection and a full bar.

I was only able to eat there 3 times this summer and did 1 take out, but each time the staff was amazing and the food was great!
They have a very nice selection of local brews and ciders. I also like that they keep the menu limited so the can focus on quality and service. I think my favorite is the pulled pork nacos. The brisket tacos were great as well as the pizzas, but the pulled pork nacos…Mmmm!
