Loved the sushi offerings! We just moved here from west coast and have been looking for a new sushi spot, we found it! We tried the Four Season, Sweet Midori, Island Delight and Hidden Dragon rolls. Perfectly prepared, great flavor and loved them all! Appreciate the attentive staff and service. We’ll be back!

Excellent ambiance and decor. Dimly lit, perfect for a date or dining alone. Roomy and super comfy booths and inviting bar plus a really great veggie selection!! I’ve had veggie sushi from almost every place in the city and have noticed a big difference in the quality of the ginger. Some taste like artificial sweeteners or have a weird chemical flavor but Nana has great quality ginger and their wasabi is spicy! The service was prompt and friendly. They gave me big comfy booth even though I dined alone and it didn’t feel awkward at all. I got plum wine and 4 veggie rolls. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu, plus they have excellent lunch specials! Can’t wait to go back!

The foods are good, especially the sushi. The environment is so nice and quiet. 10/10 satisfied customer service. Would definitely return with some friends and families.

Couldn’t have asked for better takeout while I was sick! The NaNa team sent extra miso soup with a kind note along with my delicious maki and crab rangoons! A new staple in my rotation. Delivery arrived in <20 minutes and the food was all so tasty.

Food is excellent and the staff is wonderful. I’m surprised this place isn’t more busy, but you’re always able to get a table! Seriously, the sushi and sashimi are melt in your mouth good!!

Dined here on a Tuesday evening in June. Got a table outside. Great service and order was ready in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend the Thai iced tea.

The service was incredibly slow. We (3 people) waited almost an hour for our sushi after ordering. They also forgot to bring our waters that we asked for and we had to ask again for them. The food was mostly good, but there are better places in Milwaukee to go for sushi.

Pretty decent sushi and food comes quickly. The main waitress and possible the owner of the restaurant is always really nice! She always makes sure you’re happy with your order and always makes sure you get what you need. She’s great!

We’ve been long time customers of Nana and were surprised to find at our most recent visit, that the restaurant was under new ownership. Unfortunately, they are very obviously still working out some kinks. The sushi was still pretty tasty (although we do miss many of the entree options that were on the original menu – now they are strictly sushi). We ordered about 6 simple rolls to-go and used the website to order as we always had.

My order, when completed online, didn’t send a confirmation email with estimated pickup time like usual, so I called the restaurant to make sure they indeed received it. A young man answered the phone, and I told him the name and order total and he said “yeah, we got it” – – I thought: great! This was at 6:15pm. We weren’t sure how long 6 sushi rolls would take, but we arrived to pick up our order at 6:45pm (every single experience at the original Nana, 20 minutes was the typical turnaround time).

My partner waited inside for an additional 40 minutes (1 hour 10 minutes total) for what would’ve normally been a pretty quick pickup. There were only 2-3 tables with guests seated, so all we could assume was that they were very short staffed in the kitchen. The most unfortunate part was that not one person working there said a word to my partner who was waiting for such a long time – no “sorry it’ll just be a little longer” … “we’re short staffed tonight” or “let me check on your order” – just completely ignored. We left with a bit of sadness that this place just isn’t the same anymore. The food was still pretty tasty, which we appreciate – I just would hope that in the future, they work on better communication of wait times with customers or develop a system like the previous owners had to communicate when an order was ready (call or text).

Great place to get sushi! The owners are super friendly, accommodating of any allergies, and everything off of the menu has been great so far! Definitely will be a staple moving forward.
