Chaplin does not look festive at all. It’s very bland. You need some decorations here willimantic has lots, but this one looks like it’s been forgotten.

We grabbed breakfast here last week and it was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was friendly, our food was good and the vibe was great. We decided to come back this morning. Our waitress Jen was extremely short and rude. She brought our food out and our sides of bacon were stacked ON my son’s pancakes. She barked at my boyfriend to grab the plate from her when she was having a hard time balancing everything. The bacon was undercooked, my eggs were overcooked, and the home fries were so over seasoned they were inedible. Not a great experience at all and we are really disappointed.

We come here at least twice a week. And while the food is good and they have some really delicious specials, the real reason we come is the service. Specifically Jody!!! She is always so entertaining! And she truly cares about the customer. It shows in the time she takes to really get to know the people who come here. Im always a little disappointed when we come in and she isn’t working. My family absolutely loves Jody!!!!

I used to love coming here when it was Pine Acres and haven’t been since it changed to Blondie’s. The food is still great, the service is superb and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I can’t recommend the Elvis French Toast enough! Such a delicious, indulgent treat!

The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. The restaurant was busy but the service was very quick. Our order came quickly as well without error. We ordered the Elvis French toast stuffed with peanut butter Bananas and bacon topped with whipped cream. Absolutely phenomenal breakfast quick friendly service will definitely return again

We are so thrilled that this place is so close to us! We went there for the first time last week and went back a second time with friends the next day! It is so cute inside and has many sizes of tables to accommodate us and & our toddler then later with a large group of friends. Our waitress Erica was wonderful, food was out quickly and the portions were perfect. The waffles were delicious & the omelets were filling. We will certainly be back, time & time again!

Oh I love it. It replaced a breakfast place we used to go to every week and they didn’t kill all the things we loved about it. The food is yummy, cooked to perfection and generous servings. It still feels like Pine Acres and they didn’t do too much to the atmosphere and kept it homey and comfortable. The waitstaff is amazing. Kind, funny and attentive. They even had one of our waitresses from back in the day. The only issues I have is that they had a sign in sheet next to the register which you can’t see from where the line would start. Just a quick note on the whiteboard they use for specials would fix it.
