The local Bodega – The Tamale Factory is an absolute gem! The food tastes incredibly clean and fresh, and the service is truly exceptional, you can feel the care and pride behind everything they do. What started as selling tamales during the pandemic has grown into a full bodega and catering business and it’s inspiring to see how far they’ve come. Their tamales are so good they’re carried in multiple name brand chains, but the heart of the business is still very much local and family-owned.
They’re definitely more than just tamales. While they are outstanding, the blue dot specials are a huge bonus. Blue dot specials are delicious chef prepared meals that are 1/2 price. Add in the warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuine care they show their customers and the Bodega quickly becomes a go-to spot. Offering fresh baked desserts, a candy bar and mouthwatering meals. Dine-in, order to-go or pull up for a daily special to njoy on the patio. We highly recommend supporting this amazing family business. Follow them on Instagram.

Absolutely love this place! The staff was so nice and willing to explain anything offered on the menu. I went for taco Tuesday and they were made fresh to order. I will most certainly come back.

If I could write a soliloquy about the turkey chili I had last week, I would. I have always driven past the location every Sunday when I buy groceries and was finally able to stop by. The first time we had the tamales – perfect to have at home and the elote pasta, everything was so yummy. My salsa-enthusiast husband raved about their salsa until he finished it.
I am a known picky eater – and chili has never tasted the way people described. But this chili? Goodness in a bowl. I ended up taking it home and adding some fresh rice and let me tell you, I have thought about it every day since. The flavor has been etched into my soul like something I MUST HAVE. Alas, the roads are icy and in this time of cold weather all I wish is for a fresh bowl of that. Hopefully the ice will melt and I will be able to have another bowl another day.
The atmosphere on the store is great too! And it has some sweet treat and the cafe de olla mix we like to use! No more having to go to World Market or order it on Amazon. 10/10 would recommend

Their food is always fresh and delicious! I love that they rotate lunch specials to keep things interesting, and they have a convenient grab-and-go fridge of ready made meals too. This is my go-to spot if I don’t have a lunch to bring to work for the day. Plus the desserts and aquas frescas are always delicious and fresh too!! The staff is incredibly friendly and now they know my voice from over the phone haha!

Delicious fresh food and agua Frescas. Had the Mexican corn wrap for lunch with their guava agua fresca. Love that they included a hot sauce. It was so fresh, good cuts of chicken and the agua Fresca super refreshing. Got the tres leche to try and wow

This place is my new favorite for a quick bite. The owners were in and you would have thought they were just regular folks the way they treated me and answered my questions. I highly recommend Friday’s hot lunch. It changes daily, but Friday’s slaps lol. Also the tamales are perfect. I reheat them in the package in the microwave and they still turn out good. Don’t sleep on this place.

I always see this place driving to my son school. Had a crazy craving for tamales and stopped in. So happy I did. I got these 2 flavors, super easy you literally boil the bag in hot water and they were so juicy, delicious and it totally hit the spot! I also got the fresh guac and Mexican corn. So yum!!

Small place to pick up healthy version of home cooked Mexican meals. Only place near me that has vegan tamales. It is small with few seating tables so it’s best to pick up food and take home. I always stop by when I’m in the area.
