Shinme Sushi is a newer Japanese restaurant located in a well-established plaza in South Gilbert. I drive past it almost every day, so I decided to pop in for a quick lunch.
The atmosphere is very minimalistic and the restaurant appeared very clean. Our server was incredibly soft-spoken but very kind and attentive. Every food dish we ordered was hot and came out quickly.
The Gyoza were the only things we wouldn’t get again, they tasted very TJ’s freezer-aisle-ish. Everything else was very good, the Baked Scallop roll was fresh and the Teriyaki Chicken Entree was surprisingly crispy. Even the Dirty Milk Tea was good.
Taking off a star because we heard/saw them microwave our Gyoza. Everything else seemed fresh, the sushi chef’s were making the rolls traditionally. Not a bad lunch.

We ordered take out, This Ramen isn’t good at all. There is less than 1/4 ounce of meat, the eggs are way overcooked and the broth is literally flavorless. Filled a bunch of space with tons of edamame. We tried some of the sushi, to be honest grocery store sushi tastes better than this. We will not be returning.

Not the best sushi I’ve had. It was freshly made but the flavors were okay and the rolls contained a large amount of rice. I wish the menu specified which ones were tempura fried as it was a little misleading. We tried the Nigori strawberry cloudy sake which was sweet and tasty! I thought the regular pricing for the sushi was way overpriced, may only come here for happy hour.

A great little hidden gem! They now have Korean fried chicken! The sushi is pretty good, the Korean fried chicken is not bad at all, and I actually love the fried rice. They have boba drinks as well as ramen and even bulgogi and kfc burritos. It’s nice to have all of this in one spot in the south chandler area.

It’s a nice spot for the family gathering! We often order delivery online, and this is my first time to eat here, I really love the foods here and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The lighting and music are just perfect. I’m so happy we have this type sushi place in our neighborhood. Now We have a new&nice spot to hang out with friends and family. The prices are also very nice, especially the happy hour menu! Support local businesses!!!

The tempura was wonderful. The batter was light, the veggies were crisp and the shrimp was straight as a bean, which I loved! The spicy crab roll was very tasty as well. This is the first time we have been to this restaurant. We went for “Happy Hour” prices on the majority of the rolls. It was well worth stopping in and we will go back more often. We’ve tried 3 other places in the Gilbert/Chandler area, this is the favorite. We had wonderful sushi in the state where we previously lived, so we’ve become picky on what we like. This place passes.

Went in for a quick lunch and just got their Jalapeño Boat appetizer and miso soup, which were both delicious. Thai Milk Tea was richer than what I’m used to but really liked it. Will definitely be back with the fam.

This place is a hidden gem! Never once have we been disappointed when coming here. The tuna is AMAZING and so fresh, and I highly recommend you start off with an order (or 3) of gyoza ! Shinme Sushi has become a go to spot for us.

Guess they closed for a month and now have reopened…salmon was delish per usual mango roll yum! My son got a California roll and added masago…ya uhhh won’t do that again..skimpy at best for an additional $4…ill just get masago and add myself cheaper and i get a ton more… word to the wise
