Went for lunch on a Friday. It wasn’t crazy busy. ( no lines) I ordered the pick two with a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of squash soup. My sandwich was probably the worst I have ever had. It was the tiniest sandwich one could imagine. It was literally two bites. It also looks they took a slice of cheese and held it under the broiler as it was black on the inside. It wasn’t really a grilled cheese. When we were picking it up I looked at the girl and said this cannot be the sandwich, it’s literally a bite. She rolled her eyes and walked away. Well we decided with the higher prices and much smaller portions we are going to find a new lunch place in town.

Okay, I don’t normally write reviews for chain restaurants, but today I had a spectacular experience here, and it was pickle related.

I was meeting my wife for lunch, and she ordered one of the cheesesteak ciabattas. Yes, I know it’s not really a cheesesteak, but from the limited selection of Panera items with oomph, it’s pretty okay.

I am in foodservice, so I want to get something straight here. You can hate on big, corporate chains for being soulless outposts devoid of culinary heart, but some of them do a few things right.

Panera does the assembly line of getting the cascade of orders constantly flooding their kitchen done quickly, correctly, and with excellent plate presence.

Today, however, they did not achieve the accuracy goal. My wife, who ordered for me, absolutely requested pickles ON my sandwich. For me, a sandwich is unacceptable unless it is 25% pickles. Sour or half sour normally, with bread and butter only acceptable in specific situations.

Anyway, there were ZERO pickles on my sandwich, and only one on the side, as is typical.

The true sign of an organization’s strength isn’t measured in terms of perfection, or anything similar. No, it is how it reacts to adversity, and how it recovers from mistakes. We are all human, and we all make mistakes, and pickles ON sandwiches isn’t a normal thing at Panera.

I can’t help it that the rest of you are philistines who just accept pickle-less sandwiches as if that were acceptable, and neither can Panera. So yes, they screwed the pooch.

But what they did next more than made up for it. The two folks who looked like the leads on the line sprang to action, finding me a soup bowl and piling it high with pickle spears.

There were enough to put three or four on each half of the sandwich, and to have one as an amuse bouche and another as a sort of food digestif. Of course, I also ate my wife’s pickle, to remove the offending object from her pickle-hating view.

By their swift action the Westminster has entered the annals of pickle greatness, only exceeded on the scale by the Wawa in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

Panera needs to update their app immediately!! I placed an order online using the app and was told my pickup time was 8:59. I pull up my maps and see they close at 9. With no warning on the app informing customers they will be closing soon I stupidly placed my order and show up to the door locked. I figured with an order placed and waiting the door would be unlocked maybe 5 mins after closing. In no way is this on the employees i understand they want to clean up and go home. Thankfully I called when I arrived and the girl who answered the phone was kind enough to bring my order to the door. Whoever you are thank you again! Panera should let mobile orders be placed within the last 30 mins of hours so this doesn’t happen to others.

Always a great place to have breakfast with my friends we meet every other Saturday to discuss Christ and how to share his love with the community. I enjoy the oatmeal with fresh fruit.

I just ordered lunch a chicken noodle soup and a sandwich where in the soup I got 1 piece of chicken 3 carrots and 2 celery and a cup full of noodles no broth even. the sandwich came is really small poor fillings really soggy sandwich this was never expected from panera but I would say the not worth the money I paid . very awful order. panera needs to improve portions and open their eyes while serving or packing the food.

This place is terribly managed. Today was the last straw and the last time I order here. Placed take out order. Drive 20 minutes back home and it was wrong. Veggie egg white sandwich was on wrong bread and had bacon with no veggies. Bacon egg sandwich had a single small piece of bacon. The pictures show both sandwiches when we unwrapped them.

They get 5 stars because the food is always amazing. Today the service was a bit slow not sure what caused that mabey staffing? When I went into the restaurant they acknowledged me right away and asked if I needed help.Staff was very friendly and caring. I felt safe that all staff had wore there mask correctly and practiced social distancing. Over all the store was very clean and well kept. Thanks panera team in Westminster!

Same as any other Panera, really. Can’t miss with the Bacon Turkey Bravo, even though they’re no longer serving it with gouda cheese (thumbs down). Their bread has gone wayyyy downhill over the past few years, but I can’t fault this particular location for that.

Delicious sandwiches freshly made with thoughtfully paired combinations of ingredients that complement each particular sandwich. The only scrutiny is the amount of meat. It’s way too slim to be higher in price in comparison to their other casual restaurant competitors.

I recently ordered online but accidentally sent order to the wrong Panera location. When I entered the Westminster Panera my order was not there of course. After discussing my order with an employee, he helped me figure out what I had done. His customer service was outstanding as he simply had his location redo my order at no additional cost. I am so thankful for this employee who helped me. It is this type of positive experience that encourages me to come back.
