It Took us awhile to find the restaurant, as we are not from the area and relied on Google maps, but it was a lovely, simple and clean looking restaurant. The staff were super friendly and very attentive to our needs straight away. Food was amazing, I ordered a big takeaway and all the Sashimi raw fish was super fresh! My favourites was the ikura nigiri and the tobiko nigiri! Would love to come back and eat in next time! Definitely recommend! ❤️
The tofu katsu curry was delicious and hefty in portion. The miso soup was a nice addition to the main too. We also really enjoyed the octopus cucumber salad!
Unfortunately I would not order the sushi again as it was mostly rice and not much filling/topping (see image).
The sashimi slices were quite small and expensive for what you get.
The only other thing I’d suggest improving would be making the lighting a bit more ambient as it’s a little aggressive in there and some background music would be nice as we were the only ones there when we went (Wednesday evening).
Everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Their sushi is simply outstanding! My personal favourite is number 53, the torched salmon 🙂 It’s an absolute must-try! But you should not stop at the sushi; their vegetable tempura and grilled prawns are equally delicious! A bonus for those seeking halal options: they serve halal chicken, which is fantastic!
The staff here are exceptionally warm and welcoming unlike anywhere else I’ve been. Mr. Tim and Ms. Linda are genuinely some of the loveliest, friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The restaurant itself is always spotless and has a cozy, quiet ambiance that feels unpretentious.
While a part of me selfishly hopes it remains a hidden gem, I genuinely wish more people would discover this amazing place and experience the heavenly food. If you haven’t visited yet, do yourself a favour and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
For less than £30 each we were well and truly stuffed full of fresh fish, crispy ton katsu and California rolls. A more budget friendly dinner is definitely possible here, the selection is great.
Service as expected for a group of 10, a small place with a small crew.
Would definitely return, thanks guys!
Staff were lovely and everything came quickly but was clearly made fresh. Had the green tea too which was really good.
Couldn’t recommend enough!
We had Tempura Crab sticks, chicken gyōza, the combo platter and grill eel sushi stunning! We even had some Japanese Sake and Jasmine tea
