Big mistake. When I arrived right at 5:00, the place was complete chaos—overwhelmed staff, long lines of frustrated people, orders getting confused left and right. Some folks had been waiting since 4:30 and still had nothing. The whole setup felt totally unprepared for the Super Bowl rush, with no clear system or communication.
I waited over an hour, standing around until nearly 6:00 PM, with zero progress on my order. At one point, I overheard a staff member admit out loud that he “doesn’t know which orders are ready for who”—that pretty much summed up the disorganization. Meanwhile, they were cranking out and handing off newer online orders and deliveries ahead of prepaid, pre-scheduled pickups like mine. It was blatantly unfair and felt like preorders were being deprioritized.
After wasting more than an hour with no food in sight and the game already starting, I had to cancel entirely and walk out empty-handed. The experience ruined my Super Bowl plans.
Preordering should mean efficiency and reliability, especially on a high-volume day—not this level of mess.
Poor management and preparation turned what should have been easy into a nightmare. Steer clear if you’re planning anything around a big event.
we pre-ordered from wicked wings ahead of the super bowl since they were not taking phone orders during the game. translation: they will not be answering the phone whatsoever during the super bowl. we received our door dash order and the bag did not have a receipt which i thought was weird. but the bag had the right name on it so that was reassuring. opened the bag, and they put someone else’s order in our bag. so unfortunately there was someone else with the same issue out there as well. door dash was no help since the restaurant was closed in the app. been sitting on hold for 30+ minutes just for an automated hang up. i understand that things happen. i, myself as well as my boyfriend, come from a restaurant management background. but when mistakes happen, you have to have the customer service to back up those mistakes and resolve them. we order from wicked wings often but will definitely be taking pause after this occurrence. definitely would have preferred to give our business to someone who cares about their customers and don’t just shut down the phones so they can enjoy the game once their orders are completed.
The worse part is I heard my name called and saw my food waiting on the counter. As they started packing my food I saw the receipt drop to the floor and as I watching the guy panic and I was trying to tell him he dropped the receipt and he just threw a box of wings and coleslaw in a brown bag unmarked with my name on it. I waited another half hour until I was ready to leave. I had to tell the staff that I saw an employee throw a box of wings in that brown bag with my name on it and that I will just take what they give me. But I received maybe $20-30 worth of food for something I knew they lost track of.
With that said I give 2 stars cause although I didn’t get my full food and I over paid and the wings were cold. The sauces were delicious and probably any other time they would have great food and service. Just too much traffic for Super Bowl.
