I had high hopes for IchibanGO since it’s close by, the photos looked great, and the reviews were generally positive. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations.
I ordered the hibachi bowl with chicken and steak, and both proteins were extremely overcooked—well beyond well done. The steak was tough, and the chicken was dry, which really took away from the dish. The chicken fried rice were just okay, nothing memorable. The yum yum sauce was also disappointing; it tasted like a knock‑off version and lacked the flavor you’d expect. To make matters worse, I had a slight stomach ache for most of the afternoon after eating.
The atmosphere was another drawback. It was very loud inside, likely due to the high ceilings, and the music was blasting to the point where it was uncomfortable.
That said, I’m not writing this place off completely. I love hibachi, and the concept is right up my alley, so I’m willing to come back and give it another chance. Hopefully next time the food and overall experience are better.

So I’m upset because I normally come here and today it just wasn’t it! They made our bowls and when we got home were eating a little bit and then tried the rice and it tasted horrible. The rice was mushy and slimy and when I called they basically offered to only replace the rice! I got the new rice and you can tell a big difference. This rice was fresh, but the rice they gave us even smelled moldy like or just funny! I’m so upset because we had to pick our toppings off of the old rice because the manager didn’t want to remake our bowls. However, the 2 nice young ladies were willing too but couldn’t because their boss said “NO”! We spent $40 on this so I’m highly upset because I normally like it but the way the manager handled this was terrible customer service! He should’ve offered to remake them completely! I’m posting pictures for you to see the difference in the rice!

Wow!!! I got a bowl with steak, chicken, and shrimp. It was amazing! It was ready so quickly and tastes just as amazing as it does at a regular Ichiban. If I lived closer, I’d be here all the time. The staff was very friendly and the place was so clean. I definitely will make sure to find a way back to this place.

Been wanting to try this place since it opened. Got a carry out today for my office staff. The food was very good the office loved it. One small issue with a wrong item and I called up there and they corrected it right away. The workers are all smiles and the great customer service. Is awesome. Will definitely be going back. GREAT JOB!!!

The food is great! The price is great! This was our 2nd visit. The only thing I would change is the positioning of the pans of food. My husband is allergic to seafood. He would like to get chicken & steak, but is limited, because the shrimp is the farthest away from the server. I noticed that when they scoop the shrimp into the bowl, the juice from the shrimp falls into the pan of steak, therefore my husband cannot add steak as his protein. If I had not seen this, we would have been making a trip to the hospital. The staff is great and understanding. We will be back.

My food would have been great had there not been a huge dollop of butter on top of my food. They stated that if you ask for extra garlic,this is what they do. I was talked to very rudely and told about other people’s food. Like I care. I asked them to warm my food on the grill to melt the butter and they refused. Then the smarty had the nerve to tell me it would be melted by the time I get home. NOT!!! My food was sitting on the counter when I got there. Luke warm. Butter definitely didn’t melt..at all. I usually love their food. This time was a cold bust!!!
