Wonderful new restaurant I didn’t expect in Decatur. Interior – the restaurant is very Japanese themed which I would expect, very cute. Service was very attentive and good, and the food…. Oh my goodness the servings are huge. I got the Tonkatsu Ramen, which was fantastic. She got the eel poke bowl and we started with the bang bang shrimp. Which I’m pretty sure was hand breaded and sauced here – not frozen; at least it tasted that way.
Would definitely come again.

We dined in. Very good quality food, large portions. Bang bang shrimp appetizer was awesome. We asked for mild not spicy and it was delicious. Hubs got teriyaki shrimp and scallops and I had teriyaki steak. I asked for medium rare and it was. Robot brought our dessert- creme brulee. Service was very good.

Walking into Noriya today felt like I’d left Decatur and went to Nashville or something. The decor was lovely, modern and stylish. Very clean, beautiful sushi bar. This was our first visit of what will be many visits. We had lunch today and it was incredibly delicious. All of our food came quickly and was amazingly good. My husband ordered steak fried rice, soup and pork egg rolls. I had the lunch portion orange chicken with the bento box upgrade, which also came with a small salad. The steak fried rice has huge pieces of steak (like thick steak bites). I’m not usually a fan of pork egg rolls, but these were light, well seasoned and came with a sweet/tangy dipping sauce. The orange chicken was sweet, breaded well. Crab rangoons were average, topped with a delicious sauce. The gyoza were good! The fried rice was light and the perfect texture. California roll was good, nothing unique. And the sauteed vegetables were SO fresh and crisp! I noticed several other reviews mentioned slow service. Our service time was good, no issues. In and out in 45 minutes.

This is a great start for a new restaurant. Everything was really great. Service was excellent, the atmosphere is very different. It has a relaxing but busy feel to it. I got the lunch chicken teriyaki with the bento upgrade. The food was excellent. I look forward to going back and trying more of their menu.

Absolutely delicious food!! The menu options are very extensive and varied, and all reasonably priced. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. We had a great time and will definitely become regulars here!

The restaurant is definitely an eye for detail soon as you walk inside. The bright lit decor give you scenic vibes. The sushi here is some of the best I had. The Alabama Roll & Noriya Special is amazing.

Food was 10/10. Finally found the best sushi place in North Alabama. The fish was SO buttery and fresh! The combined flavors with all the rolls were so well balance. The sauces did not overwhelm the fish. We had takoyaki as an appetizer – they look deceivingly cold, they are piping hot on the inside! The milk tea was typical, nothing special. We didn’t notice that they don’t come with boba pearls so make sure to ADD that should you wish.

We were promptly seated and greeted within 5 mins. Drinks and appetizers came within 15 mins. But we wait almost an hour for the rolls! The place was EXTREMELY busy and it was our servers first day so it is understandable. Other than that the experience was 10/10, will definitely be back! So sad there isn’t a location in Madison, AL!

Definitely recommend. 10/10. Favorite dish is the Gyu don, beef was very tender and the sauce blended very good with the rice. The sushi was great.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Step inside and immediately feel transported across the Pacific to Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, etc. They really have outdone themselves with the beautiful decorations!
In the lobby check out legit claw game machines just like in Japan. There is an amazing boba tea bar, several nice cocktails and drinks (various sake flavors). The menu is HUGE. Sushi. Ramen. You name it! They have more to offer than many of the other restaurants of this type around and the food is very good.
Also, they have a freaking robot that brings out orders sometimes. yeah. a robot. but she’s pretty and sweet.
The service is wonderful, they only have the best working here and they all do wonderful! My favorite is Sarah, but I don’t think you can’t go wrong with any of them!
