I boycotted Subway for a long time because I would just get atrocious subs, but I got a gift card and came to this location and got the best sub I’ve had in a very long time. I even got door dinged by the person parked next to me but this sub was so delicious I forgot about my anger

This Subway is hands-down the BEST in town! I drive all the way from South Lansing every single day on my lunch break just to come here because the service and flow are unmatched.

Shout-out to Mason, Alex, and Nia — the way they keep things running is smoother than I’ve ever seen at any Subway. No matter how busy it gets, the line moves quickly, everyone gets greeted with a smile, and the store feels so well-managed.

If ownership ever sees this — these employees absolutely deserve a bonus and a raise for the outstanding work they put in. Thank you to this crew for making this location truly stand out in the Lansing area. You’ve set the standard for what a great Subway experience should be! Thank you for your service. The Subway app is SUCH a scam. We ordered twice for a specific location and it chose this location with no warning. We called the store and had to call 7+ times for them to answer the phone. Once they answered the Indian man was VERY rude. When we called the first time to cancel the order he said we had to do it in the app. However the app says to call the store to void/refund. The 2nd time we called for the 2nd mistake order…the guy was very angry with us and claimed “we were playing games” when the Subway App itself was the one giving us issues. He kept calling us “buddy” and hung up the phone on us. He wouldn’t even let us speak the 2nd time around. This man was very rude and one of these days he will upset the wrong person.

Did I do something? Walk in as only customer. Lady behind the counter stands there with no greeting and sorest look on her face and just stares at me. Finally she rudely asks if she can help. I ask about breakfast subs and check the menu and you’d think I just killed one of her cats. She makes the sub with zero banter, not a smile or friendlyness anywhere and other staff come in with less atmosphere than a funeral home. Upon ringing me up (slowly) she pauses to check her phone before painfully ringing me up. I almost walked out about 5 times in the interaction, but I wanted the food which was good. Customer service seems dead anymore, but this may win the prize for worst. This is a nobody friendly establishment. Go to different location

I did an online order on October 12 and picked it up around 7:30 PM. I’m not sure who made my sub. There was only one guy at the counter when I went in. And oh my gosh ! It was absolutely PERFECT! Usually, at this subway all of the toppings are falling out of the side, you can’t get everything in one bite, the sauce will be really heavy in one spot and almost non existent in another. But not this time! I planned on eating half and saving the other half for later but I ate almost the whole thing it was so so so good and perfectly made. Like I said I’m not sure who made it, my receipt says Served By 999997. I’m usually not a HUGE fan of subway especially this location, I only get it if I’m really really craving it, usually knowing it’s going to be poorly put together. I am beyond impressed I should have gotten 2! This employee definitely deserves some sort of recognition if not a raise. They had dark curly kind of longer hair and glasses. I only went in and picked it up so I didn’t get much “service” but in the 30 seconds I was in there, he was nice, approachable and quick. In the past, there was an employee there who was very obviously annoyed every time we walked in, and she would put our subs together so fast and sloppy and if she was asked to make any changes she would roll her eyes. We stopped going there for a long time because of that specific employee. I just cannot express enough how good this sub was. The best one I’ve ever had from any subway anywhere and I worked at the one in grand ledge for about a year in 2017-2018. Please give this employee some recognition for doing a great job as I’m sure my sub wasn’t the only one he has made correctly. It really seemed like he tried to make it good. I’m half tempted to call and ask what his schedule is just so I know to order when they are working. I know they can’t do that tho but GOOD JOB! absolutely delicious and perfect.

This location has gone completely downhill! The ladies who worked there before were really nice and made your food with care but recently there has been a guy and a girl in there every time I come and not only do they both have horrible customer service, they just slap your food together with no regards and skimp out on everything except the tomatoes. I asked for double meat today and got hardly no meat at all on the sandwich. The bread is hard, and the veggies have been looking old. I’m a regular here but will be using another location for a while.
Update: It’s been a few months, and nothing has changed. They must be under new ownership, one who cares nothing about the quality of their product or service.

The food and atmosphere were great, but the lady that assisted us was so RUDE!! This is the 2nd visit in a week, and both times, she has made our experience extremely uncomfortable.
Customer service is very important, lady!!! Without customers, you have no job!

Brandy the night lady in the back half of the week is a wonderful site to see. I will only come in to this location when she is working I have given the morning staff many tries and they just are not as friendly nor passionate about the food service, coming from someone who put 7 years into food I understand the frustrations but you gotta know how to put that face one. Even on her worst days she still has her happy go get her mood to her. Thank you girl!!! We appreciate you more than you ever know thanks for all the yummy subs!! Your night regs
