DO NOT GO HERE!!! Second time I have gone to this place and had nothing but problems getting a pizzia. This time I called over the phone xl pizzia with extra cheese and pepperoni when I came in 30min later to come pick it up they said some called and canceled my order which a never did. Pizzia was half baked on the Counter no idea how long it had been sitting there. Oh we can just put it back in. And you can wait for it. I’m sorry I won’t want a half baked pizzia. Staff was no help and they need to organize themselves better. Skip this place

I went here to get lunch. When I walked in there was no one at the counter, or anywhere for that matter. I called out, at both counters, no reply. I waited 10-15 minutes – no one showed up. Seriously, someone could have and ripped them off, taken boxes that were setting out. How do you run a business like this, terrible. I left and went to Subway which was gross!

Ordered a small 2 topping pizza. The price online says it costs 15.49 came out to 19.00 total, meaning I got taxed $3.51 which is insane and the owner was right there, didn’t say anything. I’m not sure where the reviews for the pizza came from. The pizza I got gave me chef boyardee pizza kit vibes. The cheese tastes cheap and hardly any sauce, tasted more like cheesy bread, no taste.

This store is not open for business!

I placed an order at Great Scott’s Pizza online 07/01/2025. Their hours on Google said they were open, and my order was placed successfully.
I went to go pick-up, and the store was absolutely empty. Locked. Lights off. Nobody to be seen. At 1:00pm. The hours on the door reflected the hours online.
My order was seemingly never approved, and when I tried to cancel my order, it needed an employee to confirm the cancellation.
My purchase left as “Pending” on my banking app, and I had to wait a week for it to expire (07/07/2025) before I got access to that money again.

Fist time going here and the atmosphere was really welcoming, it gave early 90’s late 70’s vibes. The food may feel a little cheap but was really good. One employee was really funny and charming, he was very sarcastic and all in all a fun guy. Lots of graffiti and the bathrooms could use some cleaning. I walked in and it immediately gave me a 90’s bar feeling, the fireplace was really nice.

The atmosphere of the place is very friendly and the elderly waiter is very nice and is quick to help. The pastrami sandwich was good enough although perhaps add a bit more pastrami. The pizza was great, the cheese was good and their tomato sauce blended perfectly. Although very disappointed with the wings, had barely any sauce, and seems like the ligaments are extremely tough to bite. The meat was hard to chew with a weird taint of a blackish color. And finally the lasagna was meh. Overall final rating will be 3/5

the pizza was the best ive had so far in Santa Maria but it was not good enough to overlook how bad the service and the general state of the restaurant. the person who took my order really did not want to have to talk to me and I understand hating your job but don’t make it that obvious. This is the first pizza place I’ve ever been to that felt like a dive bar. it felt like none of the interior of the restaurant has been upgraded or tended to in 20 years and the DVD of Friday Night Lights in one of the prize machines kind of confirms it. There is graffiti all over the wall in the booth I sat in and it is somewhat charming but I don’t think that is intentional. This place needs to be on kitchen nightmares but unfortunately I don’t think Gordon Ramsey is coming.

This has been our ‘go-to’ for pizza, salads, garlic bread, and goodies for longer than I can remember. It’s a welcome refuge from obnoxious TVs and other noise makers. Portions are generous without being excessive. Try the All Meat Special. It’s the best in the city.
