I had an amazing dinner from Cheng’s! I tried their General Tso’s chicken with fried rice, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were generous. I asked for the General Tso’s extra spicy and told them I wanted it ‘no sissy boy’ style—let me tell you, they delivered perfectly! If you love bold, authentic flavors and want that extra kick, just ask for it ‘no sissy boy’ spicy! Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal.

Former New Yorker here, we are known for excellent quality ethnic food. Cheng’s is one of the best tasting Chinese food spots I’ve ate at.

The food was horrible. Chicken was dry. Wth rolls had no shrimp in them, no pork in the supposed pork rolls. The fried rice was orange and tasteless. Will never order here again. Very disappointed.

I have been going here for years it has always been my favorite chinese place but unfortunately the quality has gone down hill and the prices have gone up drastically. The fried rice never has any flavor anymore and the garlic chicken which is spicy today was unfortunately sweet for some reason. Probably won’t be back for quite some time or never again

We order Chengs all the time and have never been disappointed. We even give special orders and it is correct every time. Truly for a small town place, this restaurant is really really good. The food is cooked to order and fresh. Service is quick as well. In Mount Gilead, there are only two real options for dinner. This place and the Mexican restaurant just down the street. The only drawback is sometimes they are closed for personal reasons, but that hasn’t happened in a while. We will continue to patron Chengs.

So I got orange chicken and there was a lot of it but it didn’t matter bc I couldn’t even eat it along with the fried rice that might of well have been white rice with yellow dye then only thing left was wonton soup which I also couldn’t finish but wasn’t the worst part and every place I’ve ever been to always uses all plastic container for soup but this place uses Styrofoam so I put the lid on apparently too hard and it exploded everywhere bc it broke so easily. So I won’t be returning to the only damn Chinese restaurant for like 18 miles so disappointing.

Asian food at a good price. I tried them a few years ago during covid, was not impressed. Went back last week, wow was the food good. The dish I had was nice, spicy, fried rice was like the old days when they put veggies in. I’ll be back for another dinner soon.
Update:
Last two trips chicken was to hard to eat, and fried rice was under cooked
