I wish I could give a million stars! This place is so amazing!! My mom and I are in town for a few short days and we were on the hunt for some dinner. We saw the reviews here and decided to try it. Turns out the whole place was catering a wedding the next day so they were only doing appetizers. We walked out and the owner, Tito asked us why we didn’t stay. We explained that we were looking for dinner and not just appetizers, and he told us to come back in and he would make some for us. He went totally out of his way to accommodate us and that is true , genuine customer service. I have never met a business owner as nice as Tito. Tito and everyone really makes you feel like you’re a regular and a part of the group. Also, the food is to die for. Best burger I have had in my entire life, and ive had a lot of burgers! Thank you so much Tito, we will be back!!!!

The food here is surprisingly good. I drove all the way from the south side just to eat here. The pulled pork crostinis are phenomenal! The AVG sauce (house sauce) is amazing as well. Great list of bottles (over 30) and what they have on draft is not your basic Bud Light nonsense. Highly recommend

I was in town for the race and to see old friends and places. I stopped in here and I’m so glad I did. As I saw in another review Tito and all of the employees were so nice to me and treated me like I’m a regular. The burger I had was unbelievable and all of the sauces and the fries were amazing too. I spent a lot more time in here than I planned but I’m good with that. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit. Ice told my friends about it who have never been there. Thank you again for a great time.

It would be super helpful to let customers know that your kitchen closes a few hours before the establishment does. On Google, you appear as a restaurant that’s open for business after midnight despite not selling any food late night.

I’ve been going to The AVG for almost 10 years because of the delicious food, dart boards, and most of all because of the employees. It is one of 3 bars in the city that I feel comfortable going to by myself to grab a drink and some food. Great customer service! Tito and Mama T are the best!

We stopped in walking back to our hotel after the 500 for a quick drink and ended up spending a few hours here. The owners and staff made us feel like we had been regulars for years when this was our first time in town and our first time visiting the establishment. We also ordered food, the special (chicken and rice) and the avg burger were amazing. We’ll definitely put this on our must stop list the next time we’re in town.
