Tasty BBQ found here. The outside and inside is rustic but perfect for enjoying good BBQ. Ordered brisket and ribs plate and it came with 3 sides. All the sides were delicious (baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw). The plate also came with a big Texas toast. This plate was delicious but had to take some to go because the portions were huge! Service was excellent. I noticed the owner knew everyone that came in so I think it is safe to say this place is very popular with the locals.

Came here for a quick lunch. I’m not from around the area, but had heard the BBQ was pretty good. I ordered the sliced brisket dinner with pinto beans, potato salad & coleslaw… ALL homemade. It was pretty good. The sliced brisket was really tender and both my sides were delicious. I did take some peach cobbler to-go. It was pretty tasty too. Out waitress was very nice and attentive.

First time to visit this restaurant. We went at lunchtime. It was recommended by family that had eaten here a week prior. The restaurant was very nostalgic. So many things and pictures to look at there. The staff was excellent, they kept us all taken good care of, we had a long table full. I had barbecue, their signature of this restaurant. I decided to eat the 3 meat combo. I liked it, although I didn’t care for the ribs, as they were too dry for my liking. Otherwise, everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.

Was out riding my motorcycle from OKC, passed this place, it looked friendly and smelled amazing from outside, so I stopped in. Immediately swarmed with flies when I walked through the door, and had to wave them away from me, my drink and my food the entire visit. If they have air conditioning, it doesn’t work well.
I’m almost positive my “sliced brisket” was actually pot roast, didn’t taste smoked at all. Wrong texture for brisket.
The potato salad had the consistency of grits, the coleslaw was hot and the baked beans were more liquid than beans.
If you’re a local, you get priority service, I sat down before four other groups and got served last.
Overall, don’t recommend

Mrs. Flip Out tried this restaurant a few weeks ago, as it was recommended to her by a local resident. She ordered the bbq brisket sandwich and enjoyed it. The beans and brisket had good flavor. The rustic, eclectic decor added to the atmosphere and it was a neat place to get lunch. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Nice little place for lunch, however it closes at 2. Got a pork sandwich with the relish which was much spicier than I remember. Also got the seasoned fries. I personally didn’t care for the fries as they were breaded with cornmeal & other stuff

Great food, great folks, awesome history.
The decor of original newspapers depicting major historical events is fascinating. Travelled from Australia, wrapped we ate at Bob’s.

Brisket was tough and dry and it tasted like it was cooked in the oven maybe. It definitely wasnt smoked. Baked beans were pork and beans with their terrible bbq sauce added, potato salad was so bland, coleslaw was also not good. Flys are everywhere.
