Excellent sashimi and very good sushi. The nigiri could have been a bit better but was good nevertheless. The shrimp tempura and hamachi tartar were excellent. I think that the sashimi and bento boxes are probably the best options in this place.

TGI’s Sushi in San Jose serves very good quality sushi and is the go-to sushi place in the area between the airport and Milpitas. I have eaten here about 8 times, for business or casual lunches or dinners. The food, including a variety of Japanese appetizers, Nigiri sushi, a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and Japanese soups, has always been impeccable and of very good taste. The team is very friendly and gives good advice on the food. They have a separate room for larger group, which is good for 6-12 people or so.
My only suggestion for improvements would be to add more vegan and vegetarian options to the menu, to accommodate the growing group of colleagues who don’t eat fish or meat.

Best edamame I’ve ever had. That was the best part hands down. Rolls were huge, but not in a good way , too big and too much going on. It was ranked in the middle for taste. Benefit is it is close to hotel. Server was rude. She didn’t seem to want to help.

Our Favourite sushi place in all SJ. Cant miss the deep fried Gyozas and we’ve tried several different sushi rolls, never had one that we didnt like. Even the Bento boxes are so tasty. Aside from that, try a Sake and maybe a craft beer from japan they sell, pretty good if you like craft beer. A lot of parking, medium sized place with good service. Must try from my POV

Anything from the sushi bar is okay; cooked food is pretty consistently terrible unless you order something deep-fried. Had one of the worst oyakodon in my life (less actual oyakodon and more an unseasoned lump of overcooked scrambled egg w. chicken, fish cake, and somehow undercooked assorted vegetables over rice).
Service is good, staff are friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere is a mix. Interior decoration looks decent, however, the endless k-pop hits playing on every screen are something of an assault on the senses.

Absolutely the best sushi I have literally had in years! Their rules are delicious, huge, and super fresh… With both the service and the speed at which it’s provided lightning fast.

They’re back! This is the same crew who were over on Winchester and Hamilton in Campbell, at a new, larger spot!
As always the sushi is fantastic quality with large portions for relatively cheap (it is still sushi after all). Big recommendation for the Johnny Luv Roll, but their fish quality is always good and their nigiri has large portions so you’ll never feel like you’re getting cheated out of fish.
If you’re looking for the best value while not skimping in quality, the greatest investment really is sushi.

Good vibe and nice staff.
The price seems to be a bit pricey i thought. But when the food came out, it all made sense. The amount is abundant and i was stuff.
They were pretry generous when it comes to food. Only backdrop is that the music doesn’t seem fit to the environment.
Other than that, I was fully satisfied.
