Tried during their soft opening. Really liked their fire glaze sauce. Jumbo boned in wings are pretty normal size. Pricing is what you would expect in malls. Onion flavor was pretty good. Taste is better than bdubs and Wingstop but not as good as Korean fried chicken.

Just wanted to leave some honest, constructive feedback.

First off, the packaging looks great, and I’m really glad there’s another fried chicken place around — I love fried chicken so I was excited to try it.

The chicken itself is good, but I think the crust could use a little work. The coating feels a bit too thick, so it ends up more hard than crispy, and some of it falls off the chicken. I feel like if the crust was lighter or thinner, it would be way crispier and better overall.

I’m still giving this a 5/5 because I want you guys to succeed, and I hope this feedback is helpful. Wishing you all the best with the new store.

I ordered the Sweet Glaze Fire Boneless Chicken.
It tasted very similar to chicken with Korean gochujang sauce.
(양념치킨)
It was perfectly sweet and mildly spicy.
This is the best Korean-style chicken place in Iowa.

Great service, great prices, and great chicken.
The price to chicken ratio is perfect and super value they gave more than enough to fill you up at prices you can’t compete with tbh. The fries are crispy and seasoned. The chicken is crispy and flavorful. The biscuit is dryer than Popeyes but it’s lowkey nice with the chicken. Id def recommend trying at least once!

Fries are mid-bad, chicken is mid, flavor was 1 note, over priced, excessive packaging, everything is AI slop genuinely the best thing the small cup of pickeled cabbage and the coke. Was hoping for a decent fried chicken spot and didn’t get it. Maybe a different flavor would get a 2-3 but that’s best case.

This town sorely needed another chicken place besides Raising Canes and I’m happy this one popped up. The service and food are both great. Ordered two Tray Bs w/ the sweet korean sauce and the cheesey onion flavors. The boneless wings are good quality as well as the sides. The coleslaw really brightens the meal and balances out all the heavy sauces and fried carbs. Can’t wait to come back and try the other flavors!

Hands down one of the top food choices in the mall. If you want a break from the mundane and ritualistic choices, go no further than La Fry. I had them two days in a row, I could not be more pleased. They actually sauce they’re wings up well, unlike a typical chain where you have to beg for wet the wings. Sweet fire and the cheese covered str fantastic choices. Great quality chicken. Highly recommend. Will be using them in the future for birthday parties and game days. Very friendly service as well.

We were all excited to try this new takeout spot, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The fried chicken wings were cold when we received them. The skin was so hard it honestly felt like it could crack a tooth when chewing. On top of that, the wings were overly salty, and the spice level was very uneven. Some wings had almost no heat, while others were overwhelmingly spicy. Even within the same wing, some areas were mild and others were painfully spicy.

When you bite into the wing, the skin separates completely from the meat, which shows how poorly they were prepared. I could not even finish the food and had to throw half of it away. I would not even give it to my dog because I know she would hate me for it. That says a lot.

Overall, these were some of the worst fried chicken wings I have had in this area. It felt like a complete waste of money. I honestly do not think whoever is cooking in the back knows what they are doing. If they do not seriously improve their food quality, I do not see this place lasting very long.

The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because I liked the design of their boxes and bags. Unfortunately, good packaging cannot make up for bad food. I am very disappointed and will not be coming back.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and I was thrilled to try their food. The packaging was creative and the branding was great. However, the food quality was disappointing. The fries were completely unsalted, and the chicken was excessively sauced. The biscuit was extremely plain and lacked any flavor. I’m hopeful that this was just a growing pains phase, and things will improve in the future.
