There is no longer a motel at this location. It’s the pin oak pub. It’s a local dive bar. I like to go here on Sunday nights for the queen of hearts drawing & to have a couple of beers. I also happen to love dive bars!

This was a quick stop in for me. Grabbed a drink and played a gambling machine. They had a gaming area in the back, it’s cash only, and the staff and patrons we’re all very nice. They offer a nice outside area to have drinks and it’s a quiet setting.

Great place on Wednesday where $1.75 domestic bottles. A more older crowd meets. But a great place to set up a grill and cook brats and to enjoy food with friends on the deck. Ask the bar manager if ok to cook during the week. On weekends food trucks and bands play and no private grilling is allowed.

Rates aren’t bad, they are in the middle of a remodel so hopefully it gets better. The bathrooms are tiny including the shower, which wasn’t clean, or maybe it was but the molding and tub are so old and used it just looked filthy. Got me through a night in a pinch relatively cheap, but definitely wouldn’t do a prolonged stay here. Maybe when the renovation is completed it will be nicer.

Carpet dirty, old broken down mattress’, bathtub stained, limited grounded plugs. Window air conditioner with paneling surrounding it with barely adequate cooling. No refrigerator or microwave, no TV or WiFi. No motel office, everything ran through bar. Corn hole played outside of room at midnight . Absolutely no staff after midnight. Clean sheets! No bedbugs! Coffee at the nearest convenience store! Once these rooms are renovated and cleaned, they will become a great stop over.
