I visited this Wawa location in June 2025 and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding. The young man at the gas pump was very kind, polite, friendly, and professional. He filled up my car quickly and respectfully — just a great guy. I think he was working at the second pump/line.
Inside the store, the cashier was also very polite and pleasant. Everything was clean and well-organized. I picked up some food, and it was fresh and tasty.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the staff and the atmosphere at this Wawa. Great job to the team — keep it up!

1. There’s always at least half of the pumps closed, especially at night. In fact, at night, we’ve been told by the has attendant sitting in his car to pump ou selves.
2. NEVER enough staff for how busy of a location this is. Pay your employees better and support them. There’s a high turnover here for a reason and it’s not the employees’ fault.

This combo costs me about $22. Mushrooms and sauce still taste cold. The ingredients falls off from the slice when you pull one. The sauce is so watery, seeming fake sauce mixed too much with water….

New Jerseys first self service gas station!!! Usually doesnt have a fuel attendant in the mornings. If there is a worker out there they/them typically just sits in the enclosure plaing with their braids. Out of 16 pumps they open 4 and cannot even help those customers.
I was told once i get out of my trcuk its a sign that i dont need service.
No wonder why royal farms is moving into the state, apparently wawa’s hiring standards are extremely poor and or management doesnt care about customer service.

Honesty
The night time register a lady with a fake hair has an attitude that does not fit in this location…. Maybe better suited for the Maplewood store.. she doesn’t have to act like she owns the store and make people feel unwelcome… I made it least 4 visits a day to Wawa. For coffee for lunch for my cigarettes for my drinks… I don’t need to be given any attitude for no reason… Joseph is amazing when he is there everything is perfect…. Not sure I’ll be going there much when this lady is around because next time I’m going to tell her off

Stopped by Wawa springfield and grabbed a sandwich, but when I asked for a paper bag, they refused to provide one unless I went and bagged it myself—and paid for it. No heads-up, no courtesy. It came off as unprofessional and inconvenient. Really disappointing for such a simple request. At least if you want to charge customers for bags don’t make them go back and stand in a line to pay 35cent for a bag .very disappointing

Guy harry making a shake meet me asking for the repeatedly for the same thing he couldn’t read the ticket then he’s acting stupid and playing with me like I’m a customer that comes in four times a day what the hell is the problem….. Then I’m waiting at the register for cigarettes and the black lady that works overnight as well comes up with an attitude like I’m not welcome what do you need help with not can I help you or hello or nothing…. Starting to be like a joke in this place come here to put gas get food cigarettes all day and then you get treated like crap….. It’s like they don’t want no one to bother them at night….. Sad what’s the malfunction with these people I wonder

Terrible experience. I waited 35 minutes for my order, only to be handed the wrong food. When I went back to get it fixed, they made me wait another 20 minutes. The staff were rude and unprofessional, showing zero accountability. Instead of apologizing, one employee acted like I wasn’t even speaking and completely ignored me.
Save your time and money — skip this place and order from somewhere that actually values its customers. This location desperately needs better staff and stronger management.

Do not get gas here if your vehicle is modified with a tune or if your car requires 93 octane. I usually only use top tier 93 but this wawa was the only station open late on Xmas night. I filled up 93 and the engine immediately started to experience knock. I don’t know if they have the wrong octane pumping or if the gas is just trash but I would rather run out of gas than use their gas ever again!
