This was my third time trying Honduran food, and I usually enjoy baleadas, but this experience was terrible from start to finish I’m completely turned off.
Cleanliness:
The restaurant was unclean tables hadn’t been wiped or disinfected, and the floors were covered in food particles and dirt right under our feet. This was the first red flag.
Service & Presentation:
The server brought our food out stacked on top of each other, so the bottom of one plate was touching the food on another. Which is disgusting! When my entrée arrived, the plate looked sloppy and unclean food was smeared on the sides, plantains were in the sour cream bowl, and onions from another dish had fallen into mine. It felt like zero effort was put into presentation or hygiene.
Food Quality:
I ordered steak, eggs, plantains, and rice with beans. The taste was mediocre, and after eating, I felt grossed out due to the dirty environment and greasy food. We also ordered a salad that was on the bottom of another plate with brown not fresh salad pieces.
Atmosphere:
While eating, workers sat on their around on their phones instead of cleaning, and when we were checking out, a man stood with his arms crossed staring at us with a weird look, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Overall:
This was a waste of money and time. I left feeling nauseous and deeply regretted coming here. I would give the food 1 stars, but the restaurant itself deserves 0 stars. Honestly, I would only recommend this place for dogs.

We walked in, not expecting much, grabbed a menu and ordered. The food was not expensive. The young ladies behind the counter were helpful, sweet and brought our food quickly. The complimentary chips and bean dip were delicious. We had papusas, tacos and enchiladas. Then the entrees came. The only problem was we needed more room on the table! We were already stuffed and had to doggy bag the rest. The food is amazing. Take the trip over there, you’ll be glad you did!

I loved coming here with my boyfriend. He got a chicken and steak wrap and I got sopa de res. I LOVED THE SOUP. The short rib was so tender, the broth was so flavorful, and there was veggies galore. My bf and I also shared a cup of coffee – I could tell they brewed it for us because it couldn’t have been fresher. I never drink coffee without milk but it was so good I skipped the milk. The vibe was cheerful with large groups of people there to watch the soccer game (we went on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for lunch I can’t remember). It wasn’t too rowdy at all for it being a restaurant and bar. I am going to be going back frequently.

The food here was delicious! I got steak with onions (mind you not a big chunk of beef BUT flavorful!) refried beans and rice, my husband got two enchiladas with rice and beans, delish!

*****Update: Recently the Pupusas looked old and not fresh. Some even burnt and falling apart. When I called to tell them that they don’t look, taste good I was told that they would come back and pick them up and bring fresh ones. Delivery guy comes to pick up food but doesn’t bring my order? I showed the delivery guy the food.. also upon trying the food, I ate a hard piece of plastic that was in a pupusa. I’m thinking it was a piece of a plastic lid cover to a cup.. also Sent a pic of it to the driver who I believe is the Owners brother. When I originally called, I was rushed off the phone and they didn’t have time to resolve this issue with me. Now we are over an hr in waiting for our food. Delivery guy comes empty handed??? I told them forget it. I didn’t want anything else at this point.They gave us a credit of 20 bucks on an almost 40 dollar order. Poor service and quality of food.

What it lacks in aesthetics, ie curb appeal and decor it more than makes up with a menu that will grace your palate on many levels with a plethora of flavor. If you’re in the area, come through. If you’re not in the area, put it it on your to do list.

Had a great time and a delicious meal here! My wife, mother-in-law, and I came by on a Saturday night for dinner. The waitresses were super attentive and extremely friendly. We ordered the Sopa de Res (Beef Soup) and Pargo Rojo con Camarones (Red Snapper with Shrimp). It was better than we expected and was enough to fill all 3 of us up 🙂 Met the owner Jose at the end of the night and that completed the experience. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality 🙂
