First time I’ve been to this restaurant. Driven by dozens of times and never really noticed it tucked into the strip mall.
Fortunately, had a friend tell me about it since it’s Lent so I stopped by for the first time this past Friday. Boy am I glad I did! I got a 3 piece catfish filet dinner and an ocean perch dinner for my wife. We both loved it. Definitely our new go to place when we are looking for a good fish dinner. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

This was my 1st time here. And there is no doubt it was my last.
The fish is deep-fried with cornmeal. I had the perch since there was no cod on the menu. It was so overcooked that the fish melted into the coating. And could barely be seen. The cornmeal coating was far too crunchy that someone could break a tooth. And the fries were undercooked, in a few fries they were hard in the middle. While others were soaked in oil and soggy. We threw out half our meal.
Then we tried the desserts. Three of them.
A strawberry cheesecake. Red velvet cake and butter cookies. I don’t even know what the red stuff on my cheesecake was. I was reluctant to try it. But I did. All I can say is that it kind of tasted like strawberry topping. The cheesecake itself tasted as if it had been in that plastic container for a while. It wasn’t until I got to the center of it that it tasted good. Creamy not too sweet. The red velvet cake had the same problem. It has been sitting in the container for far too long. Except for the center of this cake was mushy, almost wet. It went into the garbage too. Now the butter cookie was a different story altogether. It was delicious. Exactly what a homemade butter cookie should taste like.
The desserts were from an outside vendor.
And as far as the atmosphere, I give it two thumbs down.
I had to ask them to clean my table.
They were all dirty.
The kid at the counter was nice though.
I almost forgot, my dinner was supposed to come with coleslaw. I never got it.

Wasn’t sure at first as the place was empty, but then we each ordered the 2 choice combo meal with chicken tenders and catfish nuggets and hush puppies on the side. It was delicious! Fish was crispy and fresh, tartar sauce was good, the fries were amazing, so crisp and tasty! Hush puppies were a little soft on the inside, not the best I’ve had but pretty darned good. Everything tasted very fresh and good and it was a good portion of two big chicken tenders and a lot of catfish nuggets for a very fair price . Could have probably split an order. Friendly people behind the counter too. Will definitely be back!

This is probably the 3rd time ive order food from this place and they are skimpy with the portions. Buying family sized pans to come with sample portions is ridiculous. People are spending their hard earn money in this economy… the menu says the pans come with fries bread and coleslaw and we got 2 pieces of bread for 25 pieces of chicken. And 2 sample size coleslaws. The fries were the same amount that comes with a 6 piece dinner. Beware how cheap they are. The fact we still had to run to aldi to buy coleslaw and another side to fill us up and return home and eat cold food.

The chicken and french fries were absolutely delicious! I love the lemon pepper seasoning I love to dip them in the hot sauce strongly recommend the lemon pepper seasoning!!

Food is good sometimes one of them didn’t follow they just added lemon seasoning to your fries even you or anyone requested not to add it. But there one female worker that take order, that follow. Overall it good always double check your food before you leave the place.
