1. The Bun Bo Hue was well-made with lots of ingredients!
2. The spot has chill casual vibes with lots of seatings!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with our orders! The following items came out in this order: drinks, BBH, and then the Banh It Ram!
Note: There is a restroom available for customers!

We did a road trip from Nevada to LA and had been craving Vietnamese food the entire way. Ben Ngu (named after a place in Hue, Vietnam) really hit the spot! We ordered a few different dishes and everything was delicious. Just a heads up, the Banh It Ram takes a little longer to make, by the time it came out we were already full and ended up with a lot left over. Other than that, it was a great experience!

I went to Bến Ngự for breakfast and ordered the Mì Quảng Special. I wasn’t too impressed with the customer service when they greeted and took orders. As for the food, the portion was quite large—I couldn’t finish it. The meat and broth were decent, but the flavor wasn’t quite to my taste; I found it a bit too salty. However, I really enjoyed the side salad, which had a good balance of fresh veggies for the bowl. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean.

Come for a flavor packed meal! The flavors packed a punch on all the dishes we ordered. To try multiple things, we shared all three dishes family style. Pictured are: Banh beo dia, Banh it kep Banh ram, and Bun mit mam nem. My personal favorite was the vermicelli with jackfruit salad – had great flavor and a nice kick . Service was good and pretty quick!

Came here because this place keeps popping as ‘best or top rated Vietnamese restaurants.’ Food here isn’t bad, but this restaurant doesn’t belong on the list. I give them 3.8/5. No fuss easygoing typical Vietnamese service. Their prices are good and not overpriced like most places. I’m now skeptical of all these reviews if they are from relatives or friends.

It was my first time there. Went there for specifically bun ho hue and the menu looked enticing. I will go back to try other items. The meat wasn’t as tender as I would prefer. The broth was okay.

Bún bò Huế is as average as other restaurants. But the special point is FRESH VEGGIES, so fresh and plenty. The server comes to ask if you need more veggies.

That is FIVE stars for amazing services. Normally, Vietnamese restaurants do not know how to train the servers to serve the customers. But this restaurant has got 10 points for service.

It’s the hidden gem located at 10051 Garden Grove Blvd in Garden Grove. Folks consistently praise its flavorful broth, quality ingredients, authentic, high-quality bún bò Huế that is considered by many locals to be the best in Orange County.

Off little saigon. A gem. Their specialties are from the Hue region. Bun bo hue: rice noodle soup, spicy, rich flavor, and authentic. If too authentic for your taste ask for a lighter version.
Crab noodle soup: Banh canh cua is a must if you like udon style soup. Also the banh beo: little rice made sopas are tasty.
