Their tonkotsu broth was good, but the authentic japanese broth they had just wasn’t it for me. The meats were all really good selections, but I learned that day that I do not ever want to eat cow throat ever again. Karaage was soooo good, wish it had came with like spicy mayo or something. I also ended up getting a stomachache which I’m not sure if it was eating too much or eating something bad.

Surprised my daughter by taking her here for lunch and she loved it! Hotpot was great and the service was even better! Zack was the goat! He was very kind, attentive, and such a hard worker. Thank you Zack for taking great care of us today!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I really wanted to highlight our server Kat (Cat?). She was attentive but not overbearing, accommodating, super helpful and knowledgeable, and on top of that had a great attitude and pleasant personality without seeming fake! Please be kind to her when you go! The whole staff worked well together actually, but this is about Kat! Food was great, the music made me feel like I was in Heated Rivalry but maybe that depends on who was on Aux. This has been my second time in, my first time I sadly only gave myself 1 hour, so this time after 3 hours we developed a great strategy for next time and how to optimize our food consumption (with help from Kat).

Used to love coming here. The server we had, a guy in a suit, barely greeted us, never smiled, looked annoyed that we were there. Realistically we should’ve just went somewhere else as the hot pot scene in Rhode Island has expanded. We asked 4 times for more water, and never got our actual drinks refilled. The broths also weren’t as flavorful. The overall experience wasn’t something I’d want to repeat, unfortunate since it’s in my neighborhood.

The shabu shabu is AYCE and it is worth it! It includes appetizers and dessert. We were two of us and including tips it set us back ~$130 w/o alcohol. You get to chose from about 6 broths. The soups are heated on induction stoves and they heat up.pretty quick.
Service is great! Seems like there were only 2 servers on a Wednesday night. There weren’t many patrons and they handled the few with ease.
The serve the food pretty creatively. I really liked the way they served the shrimp paste. The seafood seemed really fresh as opposed to the meats which are obviously frozen.
If you are craving shabu shabu this place will not disappoint.

This is always my go to spot for hot pot whenever I’m in town. I love coming here with friends. There’s so much variety that everyone can find something they like. The all you can eat is a good deal, and the guy who always serves us is super friendly and attentive.

It’s a great place to bring friends or family for a relaxed night of eating, talking, and enjoying good food. They never rush you out, which makes it even better. Always a solid choice for a fun, satisfying meal.

Been there countless times since its opening day. Food and service have been consistent; however, they really need to fix the fruit fly infestation in the restaurant. When we are there spending $70-100 for two, the last thing we want is fruit flies sitting on our sauces and flying over our faces. I thought it was a seasonal problem during summer, but the problem lingers even during winter.

Y Shabu Shabu is an absolute delight! The dining experience here is fantastic, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The variety of broths and dipping sauces available make every meal unique and customizable to your taste.

The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to help and make great recommendations. The meat and vegetable selections are excellent, and everything is presented beautifully. It’s the perfect spot for both a casual meal and a special occasion.

If you’re a fan of shabu shabu or just looking to try something new and delicious, Y Shabu Shabu is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The newest hot pot spot in Providence and its definitely worth checking out. This is the first all you can eat hot pot restaurant I’ve ever been to and it is a different experience than La Mei, for example, but still great in its own way. The sauce bar here is unparalleled. The quality of the food was good, but I do prefer the proteins at La Mei. The service was good, but they did cut our disgusting, gluttonous selves off eventually. Dinner will cost right around $100, but it’ll be the only time you need to eat all day… if you do it right.

Everything about this place is amazing they have a lot of soups to choose from and you don’t have to share your soup which I really like. The service is amazing and it seems like they care a lot about cleanliness. One of the cleanest restaurants ive ever been too.
